Prologue
My name is Rachel Parker. I'm seventeen years old and have been living with my grandparents since I was 6. I had to move in with them after my parents died in a air plane accident. it was either them or a foster home. I'm really grateful that they took me in and all but they live in Oregon and its hella cold up here. I miss my home town California where my parents were born, where they were raised, where I was raised. I feel like that's the only place that connects me with my parents. so many people know me there and after all these years I think it's about time I take a visit. I'm coming home.
