The song ended. The room was dead silent for a moment before a group of people began their applaud, others following after then the rest of the room. The noise bounced around. Charlie joined in. To her, the song seemed too much for high school kids - they all clearly knew what they were doing. If Charlie was going to join them, she had to know what she was going to be doing and what she would be getting herself into. Charlie didn't know anything about the instruments they had up there. The club probably wanted someone who had experience with at least one instrument - that wasn't Charlie. Charlie only knew how to be bad at things and get into unwanted trouble, get horrible grades and almost fail to follow up with society around her. There was no way she was going to be let into their club. There weren't any good clubs out there anyway, this one seemed interesting and Charlie constantly attempted to blow the thought off.

Charlie hadn't realized the auditorium was emptied, and only the band who finished playing were on the stage. The three packed up quickly and shared a few words of either how many mistakes they made in the song and how good each other did. Unfortunately, Charlie was noticed by the girl with the keyboard. She held her keyboard stand with both hands and called out to Charlie, "Hey! Did you like our show?" The girl set her stand down, she braced herself before jumping off the stage and making her way to Charlie. Her features were clearer with every step. The girls bleached hair sorta matched Charlie's in a way. "Did you hear me?" The girl flashed a bright smile before repeating her question, "Did you like our show?"She gave off an obnoxious vibe. Charlie only shrugged nonchalantly and quickly answered, "Yeah. I guess it was cool." The girl peered closer while wearing a cheerful smirk, "Was it really just that?"
"What do you mean?"
"Just cool?"
Charlie gave a blank nod, she wasn't sure what the girl wanted to pry out of her. Their show was okay for a high school band and nothing else. Before the girl could ask anything else, another voice called out to the prying blonde. "Arieh!" Both girls turned to where the small voice came from. It belonged to a little girl, she made her way to both of them. "Arieh, that was the best one yet!" The little girl's expression matched Arieh's. In fact, they basically had the same face, minus their eyes. Arieh's eyes were fairly large and green while the girl had dark brown eyes. "You think?" Arieh asked before she started chewing on her bottom lip. Probably a habit, Charlie pondered while she silently watched the keyboardist. "Yeah! When's the next one gonna be?" The little girl questioned with a beaming smile that reached ear to ear. "When we find a guitarist, I'll let you know Rae." Arieh's answer didn't satisfy Rae as the little girl wore a perplexed expression. Charlie suddenly perked up, "You need a guitarist?" Her words were loudly blurted, making the two of them curiously turn their heads toward Charlie.
Arieh nodded slowly, "We started the club without one. Horrible mistake though, almost all the music that's out there makes the guitarist shine. Our bass guitarist, Nomi, takes up for it."
Charlie didn't know anything about guitars, and that meant she couldn't join their Band. "I hope you f-"
"Maybe you could join their Band?" Rae's words almost came out as a shout. Both of them gave stern stares at Charlie. They desperately needed a guitarist, but Charlie had no experience with any instrument.
"Guys, I don't even know how to play guitar." This was a fact Charlie repeated inside her mind. Rae playfully walked on her toes, her arms stretched out at her sides to keep herself balanced, "You could learn." Her singsong tone caused Arieh to join in, "You could." What if Charlie didn't want to? The kids of this school seemed to not care what anyone else wanted.

Unfortunately, Charlie was apart of the group of people in the world that couldn't say no.

"Does a tour of the school come with joining this club?" Charlie asked. When Charlie agreed to joining the Outside Band Club, both her and Arieh realized that the rest of the band had left and went back to their club room. "Nope." A blunt quiet answer came from Arieh as they walked down the school's hall. The hallway was quiet with only a few people walking through it, luckily Arieh knew her way around the school or they would both be lost. Charlie awkwardly followed behind Arieh, only their rhythmic footsteps made audible noises. "What school did you go to before you came here?" It was obviously that Arieh wanted to make conversation but there was a problem with that - Charlie was just fine and comfortable with awkwardly following Arieh to her club's room. Charlie was basically forced to answer the girl's question, "I was homeschooled." She had to mentally prepare herself for every answer she would give Arieh, even if that meant 30 seconds before each answer. Charlie didn't want to give Arieh bad impressions of herself. Arieh's questions kept being thrown at Charlie and she had no choice but to blankly answer like she wasn't mentally drained Arieh trials from all the answers being thrown back. Did every member have to go through the Arieh trials? All of this was Fortunately ended with them walking into the Club room. "How come you guys get a Club room?" Charlie's lip curled. They weren't a big club so why did they get a room?
"We have to practice. Our Club room is actually very far away from classes and other Club rooms." Arieh continued with a small uncharacteristic smile, "For many reasons." Practice. Oh yeah. The room wasn't that big, but it wasn't small either. Several speakers were set in the corner, a white inked brand name on the sides of them. The floor was wooden while the wall was a peachy color. A single window was on the right window with a white drape that covered most of it up. Charlie turned to Arieh to compliment the Club room - when she opened her mouth to speak someone else's voice filled the room.

"Hi Arieh." A voice called out to the keyboardist, making her turn her head, "Who's this?" That voice was somewhat familiar to Charlie but she couldn't think of anyone who had it. Charlie eyes landed on the girl with the familiar voice, "Don't I know you?" It took Charlie a while to notice who she was. The blue haired girl.
"Aren't you the one who was lost?" She said. Charlie nodded, "Thanks for showing me the way out, I guess."
"No problem." The girl continued, "By the way, I'm Eve. That one over there is Nomi."
Charlie was redirected to another girl with long black hair, and pale skin. "It's nice to meet all of you. I'm Charlie."

"Why did you bring her Arieh?" Nomi looked Charlie over. She had a harsh tone that matched her unwelcoming features. Charlie didn't know anything about her but the bass guitarist looked like she always didn't want to be bothered by anyone. To Charlie, Nomi seemed to be the boss of them. Arieh straightened her posture and spoke, "Charlie could be our guitarist." Why did Charlie agree to joining this club? Huge Mistake.
