I walk along the grass the light dew shining in the morning sun. Its quiet, apart from the beautiful singing of starlings echoing within my ears. A tingling sensation runs across my face from the brisk morning air, I dig my hands further into my petticoat pockets trying to regain full feeling into my fingertips. I hear the loud clicking of heels behind me but I dont dare to turn around, if I do Ill cry, break down.

"Slow down! Em please!" She gasps behind out of breath. I dont answer afraid that I will lash out at my best friend. I look down at my suede black boots and a tear falls silently as I walk faster.
