Ally's POV
The next morning I woke up fresh. I went to the kitchen seeing my sister trying to make breakfast. Before we knew it we were throwing water on a burning pot.
"ALLY GET MORE WATER!!!" my sister Zoya yelled
"HOW DID YOU EVEN SET A POT ON FIRE!!" I yelled back throwing water on the fire.
The fire alarm started going off and we both looked at each other. I went to turn off the alarm and Zoya continued trying to get the fire out. After a couple of minutes, the fire alarm was off, the fire was out, and there was water everywhere.
"Ok.. well... Next time, don't try to make breakfast." i said
She just shrugged.
"Well go and get some breakfast and i'll clean this up." she said
I agreed then went to take a quick shower. I put on shorts, because it was burning outside, and tank and a loose sweater on top. I left my hair as it was with waves at the bottom and put on some mascara and eye liner and walked out the door with my phone and wallet. I decided on going to a bagel place i saw next to starbucks. I was walking when I heard my phone ding. I looked at the name and it said Andy.
Andy: Hey!
Ally: Hey! Watsup!
Andy: Nothin much! Just bored.. How about you?
Ally: Walking to some bagel place to get breakfast for my sister and I. :)
Andy: Oh cool! Is it the one next to Starbucks? :)
Ally: Yepp! That's the one!
After that I didn't get a reply so I just put my phone away. I reached the bagel shop and ordered two plain bagels and two hot chocolates. I paid for it and realized this was going to be hard carrying all the way home. I struggled trying to hold everything until I heard a voice.
"Need a little help there?" I heard a familiar boy's voice
I turned around to see Andy.
"Hey Andy! What are you foing here?" i said
"Well I was bored and wanted to see you!" he said smiling
I looked down, hoping to hide my blush.
"Do you need some help with that?" he said chuckling
"Um.. a little... I have to bring this home and sadly I don't have 4 arms..." i said
"Here I'll walk with you." he said taking the hot chocolates from my hands
I smiled in thanks then we walked out towards my house. Throughout the walk we talked about everything. I talked about my family, school, leaving out the part about my bullying, hobbies, and more. We had a lot in common so it was fun to talk to him. But I had to keep telling myself that i couldn't like him because he will most likely turn out not liking me and will just leave me broken hearted. After a while we got to my house and I stood outside the door. We looked at each other for a second until he broke it.
"Hey so I wanted to ask you if-" he was cut off by a door opening
"Finally, you're here! I'm starving! Do you realize-" she said but stopped when she saw Andy.
"Oh sorry.. Um.. I'm Zoya, Ally's older sister." she said shaking Andy's hand
"Hi, I'm Andy. I met Ally when she went to Starbucks the other day." Andy said smiling
"Oh nice. Well I'll take this stuff and let you two talk." she said and winked at me.
I heard Andy chuckle and I glared at her.
"Sorry about that. You were saying?" i said
"Oh right! Um well, you are a really nice girl and I ahven't met anyone like you and I just wanted to ask, it's okay if you don't want but... um would you like to go out on a date with me? Tomorrow evening?" he said with a hopeful smile.
Was he really asking me out? He actually wanted to be with me? No, Ally. You can't. You'll just have your heart broken. But, he's so sweet! I stopped all the thoughts in my head and before I knew it the words slipped out of my mouth.
"I'd love to." I said smiling
I saw a wave of relief wash over him.
"Cool! I'll pick you up at 5. Wear something cute but casual." he said
I nodded and he gave me a hug. Shots of electricity went through me. Why did he have to be so perfect?
We said bye and he walked off. I couldn't help but smile.
Austin's POV
Wow. Did I just do that? Well I'm glad I did. She is just different from every girl I met. I can't wait till tomorrow. I got home and saw Dave on the phone.
"Hey dude! Where ya been?" he said
"Oh i was meeting up with a friend." I said smiling
"OOOOOO is this a lady friend?" he said excitedly
"Maybe... but anyways I am hanging out with her tomorrow at 5." i said
"Awww!! Austin is going on a date!!" he said
My mom came in smiling.
"Austin you are going on a date? Oh my! With who? Is she nice? Where are you taking her?" she shot questions at me.
"Mom!! Calm down! It's this girl named Ally and she's perfect. I'm taking her to the beach. Something simple and cute. But I'm just worried about one thing..." I said
"What, honey?" she asked
"She doesn't know who I really am." i said
"What do you mean?" my mom said
"Well, I might have told her that my name was Andy the first time she saw me..." i said looking down guiltily
"AUSTIN!" my mom shouted
"I panicked! I wanted her to like me for me." i said
"Sweetie, you are going to have to tell her. The sooner the better." she said
"Yea, I'm gonna tell her tomorrow for sure. I hate lying to her."
"Well, I'm happy for you." she said
"Thanks mom." i said
"And don't forget, you have a meeting with management before your date!" she said
I groaned but nodded my head.
I couldn't wait till tomorrow.
