"Locked"
"This one won't open either"
"The windows not opening too"

I slide down I defeat and plop on the floor, letting out a sigh in frustration

"ha"
"What's so funny?" I question in annoyance
"This"
"What, how is this funny?" I say in an angry tone
"It just is"
"Your really annoying"  I reply
"Ouch that hurt"
I roll my eyes in response get up searching for some way out

I looked for a good half an hour before I lay down in the electric keyboard section In defeat. Charlie lays down beside me in science, both lost in our thoughts.

It was so silent you could of heard a pin fall, until I hear a loud bang. I jolt up in surprise and turn my head in Charlie's direction, he's standing up on a few box's, close to the top of the room with a giddy smile on his face and a open skylight above him.

"No fucking way" I say
"What can I say, I'm a man of magic" he replies while wiggling his eyebrows up and down
"Well come on, what are you waiting for" he says gesturing to the roof.

......10 minutes later I find myself walking along a Rickety metal roof, carefully watching my step, "this way, if you jump, we will be able to get down"
He expresses "no way" I say with a anxious tone. he raises an eyebrow and turns away from me, jumping off the the roof. I run to the edge in panic, and look down to see a laughing Charlie, just a few meters below me.

"Are you out of your mind?!" I scream
"Yes, what's new?" He replys
"Your turn now"
"No" I yell back
"I'll catch you"
"Your crazy" I express
"I promise, trust me" he says to reassure me

I squeeze me eyes shut as my feet make their way off the roof into thin air, straight into Charlie

"See, your okay"
"Whatever" I huff while standing up and brushing myself off

"So what now?" He says
"Home now" I reply "it's 11:30pm I'm going to be in a heap of trouble"

"I've got other plans" he says with a sly smirk as he points to the theatre across the street "what about a midnight movie, madam?"
"No way in hell it's way to late I need to start walking home, my mums going to freak" I say in an exhausted tone

"Ok your choice" he says while shrugging his shoulders and walking away

I stand with my arms crossed for a few more seconds before I yell out to him again,
"sure"
"What?" He questions
"Midnight movie it is" I say with a small smile.

A small smile that was instantly filled with regret.
