My eyes went as wide as an owl's as my jaw almost touched the ground.
I couldn't believe who i was seeing right in front of my eyes. I stared straight at his face, taking note of every bit of his features.
What was once called a baby-faced boy, turned into a chiseled faced man.
With glazed eyes, he was returning the same way i looked at him. Not leaving a space from my face. His side parted hair falling softly across his forehead, almost covering his eyebrows.The soft, clear skin laid on his cheeks. His defined nose that I've always pinched ever since we were kids. And of course, his pink glorious lips that were pursed into his mouth.
We were staring into each other's eyes before he broke into a smile as he attacked me in a warm hug. I immediately returned the warm gesture as he patted my back. We broke the hug as he sat beside me.
"...Jungkook" i breathed out in awe as i stared at my childhood friend that i haven't seen in many years.
"Did you miss me?" he asked, grinning cheekily as i pinched the bridge of his nose causing him to scrunch his face.
"When did you get back? How long are you staying here? How's Junghyun oppa? Are you going back to-" before i could finish my last question he covered my mouth, preventing me from talking.
"You're still the same noisy, nagging noona i remember since i left" he said, chuckling to himself as he noticed my foot.
His eyebrows furrowed as he pointed towards the bandaged ankle of mine.

"And you're still stupid, i suppose" he paused, "What happened?"
I sighed as i told him the story about how me and Minji were rushing to go to the cafeteria until the part where a teacher had to carry me all the way here. Resulting him to laugh his ass off, teasing me about being such a klutz and all. Even when the nurse came back to give me a bag of ice, he took it and said i might screw that up as well so he insisted on being the one to place it above my ankle, which i allowed him after a few persuasive demands.
"So how long are you staying here?" i asked him while he was too busy focusing on my foot.
"Well, i'm gonna finish my last year here so.." my eyes widened at what he said. So that means..
"OH MY GOD" i almost yelled out. He quickly shushed me as he eyed the other students that were inside the infirmary.
"Happy much?" he joked but he stopped as he looked at me once again. "Care to tell me why you have pink hair?"
"Oh.. well there's this guy-" he was like a dog who's ears perked up at the mention of a guy
"a guy?" the look on his face seemed like he couldn't believe what he was hearing. I nodded slowly as he asked once again, "So what happened?"
"Truth or Dare happened" i said as i stopped myself from laughing at his reaction. He gave me his infamous 'are you fucking kidding me' look that screamed out the curse word at me.
"You did this.." he picked up a few strands of hair from my shoulder, "Just because of a dare?"
I nodded, quite proud of my decision as he shook his head while clicking his tongue. "It was worse for the guy."
"Oh? and what was his?"
"Pink hair" i said as i bounced my shoulders. He tilted his head slightly with a confused look on his face.
"And why is that worse? You both got the same hair" he asked.
"Uhm because he's a guy..?" i said, making it obvious for the boy in front of me to understand what i'm saying.
"But what if it suits him though?" he said as he tilted his head to the other side. I scoffed at his question.
"Oh please, the guy plays basketball and as Minji said, he looked kind of like a jock. And a jock with pink hair? It's just.. i don't know.. weird?" i said trying to find the right word but weird only came to my mind.
"Yeah, but what if it actually does suit him?" he asked, not giving up on his question. I sighed mentally, deciding if i should just ignore the question or keep up with arguing with his clueless expression.
"I don't know, i haven't seen his face before so.." i shrugged which of course made Jungkook raise his eyebrows then instantly furrow them back again.
"What do you mean you haven't seen his face before?"
I sighed again.. This was gonna be a long day..
