neither of them knew how it exactly happened, but they ended up at same college, sharing same apartment tooru's parents owned in tokyo.they were cuddled up in front of tv, watching tooru's favourite k-drama.
"it's not fair iwa-chan! why did he have to die?" tooru sniffed, face burried in hajime's shirt. hajime caressed his hair and rubbed his back to calm him down.
"i don't know shittykawa. i guess that's how k-dramas work. and life in general."
"it sucks." tooru said and blew his nose in a tissue. he sat straight up, and hajime couln't help his heart race like crazy at the sight of a messy haired boy that showed his feelings to him, and only him.
"hey, oiks?" he said, twirling a strand of tooru's hair around his finger.
"yes, iwa-chan?" he said in shaky voice.
"wanna go for a walk? we still didn't see those cherry blossoms."
tooru smiled at him and nodded his head.
"sure."
* * *
"look iwa-chan! cotton candy!" tooru exclaimed as a little child.
he bought minty green cotton candy and stuffed it in his mouth, while hajime only laughed. he sometimes couldn't believe he had tooru next to him again.
somewere in the process of walking around and admiring cherry blossoms, hajime couldn't resist anymore so he took tooru's hand in his, gently intertwining their fingers.
tooru slightly blushed and gave him a questioning look, but when he saw the expression im hajime's eyes, he only tightened his grip, never wanting to let go.
