Ryan: how you fell in love?

The two of you met in French class, on the first day of high school, and you both got detention for not paying attention and talking. That's where and when you bonded. You guys ended up becoming best friends, but as he got to know you more, he grew to have a major crush on you. You were always oblivious to it because you already had a boyfriend that you loved. Years have passed and you guys still remained best friends. One day, he asked you to come over and help him unpack old boxes to see what needed to stay and what needed to be thrown out. While you were unboxing one of them, you saw a tape that interested you.
"Ryan, what's this?" You asked holding up the tape.
"I don't know. Probably one of aj's old tapes. He loved taking videos when were in high school. Remember?"
"Oh yeah! Maybe it's a video of us at the skate park. I hope it's of me shredding it on a ramp."
"Let's find out." He said slyly while snatching it from your hand. He put the tape in his TV set and you both started watching. 15 year old Ryan appeared on tv with a piece of belloni on his face as he was trying to eat it without using his hands. You could hear aj from the back of the camera chanting his name. "Ryan, Ryan, ryan.." he managed to fit it into his mouth and he put his arms up as if he was a god and got up and took a bow. The two of you started laughing at Ryan's silliness when he was a teen. Then the camera turned away to show that it took place in a skate park. Then you saw yourself in the camera, and you were crying your eyes out.
"I remember this! I know why I was crying. It was because nick told me that he had wanted to take a break from our relationship."
"Oh yeah....I remember that day..." you looked at him to see that he was really upset, then you turned to the footage to see that he was even more upset at that time. He hugged you and wiped your tears away and said that he would make you forget about nick. Then little you walked away from both him and Aj and sat on the edge of a ramp. You remembered how awful you felt at that moment.
"Ryan! This is your chance!" You heard aj say.
"Y/N maybe we should turn this off."
"No I want to see what happens." You started paying more attention to what was happening. Ryan was telling aj it was a bad idea and that he shouldn't do it. 'Do what?' you asked yourself. Ryan told aj that he bought it for his mom. 'Bought what?' Ryan then agreed and you saw that he took out a rose from his backpack. You looked a bit taken back from it because it looked like he was going to give it to you.
"Ryan was that rose meant for me?" You asked him gingerly. He didn't respond. He just looked down. You looked back at the tv and saw how he happy he looked.
"Ladies and gentlemen, a miracle is happening and Ryan is finally asking Y/N out, I repeat Ryan is finally going to do it."
"Would you keep it down!"
"Who cares, she's already gonna know because Ryan is fina-. Oh no." The next thing you saw hurt like a dagger to the heart. You saw your younger self and your ex boyfriend, nick, holding hands and walking away, like nothing happened before that. The camera turned to Ryan's face and he looked like he just had his heart broken. You wanted to cry from seeing that. Younger Ryan looked down at the rose and then threw it on the ground and ran.
"Ryan's first heart break ladies and gentlemen. Ryan wait!" The camera got all fuzzy as if aj was running and then it all went black. You looked at Ryan and saw that he looked heart broken again.
"I can't believe you were going to do that. How long have you thought of me in that way?"
"Always." He stated, looking up. You both had tears in each other's eyes. Then, you held his face and slowly kissed him, and felt something you never felt with anyone else. You forgot all about the past, about nick. He held you so tight as if he's been waiting years to do this and it finally happened.
