Magenta's Pov
"Mag, this is a big deal! It's gonna be great for your reputation" Mike keeps going on and on how this fighting match will be great for me if I win it, but honestly, I couldn't give two fucks about it. "Who am I fighting against again?" I ask uninterested . "Billie Bear" , he says annoyed. I snorted at the name. "Who the hells name is 'Billie Bear'?" I say giggling."Mag, there's no time for making jokes!" He says yelling. "Sorry..." I say mumbling. "Now you gonna take on the match or what?" He asks with attitude."I'll do it then" I say getting up with a sigh. "Alright, you'll sign the contract and we'll do a few drills in the ring" I'm coming for Billie Bear's ass.
Grayson's Pov
I arrive at Ethan's house and I ring the doorbell. I see a figure through the glass window of the door. The door opens up " Oh, hey Grayson!" Ethan's wife says with a welcoming smile. "Hey, Taylor!" I say smiling. "Come in!" she says gesturing me to come in. "Ethan come down! Your brother is here!" I hear footsteps coming downstairs, I look up and I see my one and only twin brother. I run towards him and we give each the biggest bear hug we've ever given. " I missed you so much bro" I say with my voice muffled from the hug. "Me too bro, me too" Ethan says with his voice also muffled by the hug.
We pull apart from the hug "So what have you-", than a girls voice interrupts coming from the kitchen "Guys, who's here?" I then see a medium height girl with hazel eyes and brown hair with light blonde highlights walk in. Our eyes meet, "Oh, this is my twin brother, Grayson and Grayson this is my friend Alani!" Ethan says introducing each other. We both smile and say "Hey, Alani", "Hey, Grayson" we both shake hands. "I was about to say, you're his twin that he always talks about!" , "Well, we were very close when we were teens". We keep talking and then she notices my ring finger, I swear I saw her face turn white. Did she think I was single ? Was she flirting with me? "Oh.... so you're married?" She asks trying to be cheerful about it, but I can sense a hint of disappointment in her voice. "Yeah... I am, her name is Magenta" I say smiling, "T-that's a nice name!" She says with a fake smile. She then changes the subject talking about all the crazy dates she's been on. I get a text from Mag.
Magenta- On my way back home
Grayson- Okay, I'm at Ethan's place. I'm going to leave right now.
Magenta- See you then, love ya❤️
Grayson- Love you more bye❤️
Magenta-Not true, but whatever🙄❤️❤️
"Alright, I'm going to head out, Magenta is going home" I say hugging Ethan and Taylor. "Bye, and tell Magenta congrats on her fight!" Ethan and Taylor say. I wave bye to Alani, I see a slight surprised facial expression on her face "Your girlfriend is a boxer?" She asks with shock. "Yeah, she's really good at it . She just won the Welter weight championship too." , "M-Magenta Dolan?" she says still with a shocked look. "Yup, that's her", "W-wow..... I didn't expect that" she says with a nervous chuckle. "Well, I got to go, it was nice meeting you Alani" I say smiling and waving.
"Oh wait! Before you go.... I know this will sound weird, but wanna exchange numbers?" I can tell she's really nervous for my response. I mean I guess, maybe she just wants to be friends. I nod " Sure" I say with a 'why not' look. We exchange numbers and I get into my car and drive home to see my baby.
