A Second Chance

Chapter 5

     The next day when I got up I put on my animal skin skirt that came to the middle of my thighs, and my animal skin tank top.  After I got my cloths on I braided my hair and put feathers in my hair.  I also put on my animal skin shoes and walked out the door to start my way to the school.  When I got to school I walked to my locker and opened it and got my math books out.  Right before I turned around someone came up behind me and grabbed my bum.  Before I could think I turned around and punched him in his nose, he fell on his butt with blood running out of his nose.  Well guess who it was?  Mr. Horan.

     As Niall was laying on the floor, I put my books in my locker and went to the office.  

"I just punched Niall Horan in the face."

"Oh my, where is the young lad?"

"He is outside at my locker, the number is 24."

"Okay set down and don't move."

"Yes ma'am."

I went over and set down as Mrs. Candy went to get Niall and the principle.

     When Mr. Poe came in and told Niall to set down and for me to come in his office.

"Now Ms. Black why did you punch Mr. Horan in the face?"

"Because he grabbed my butt, and I'm not going to deal with someone doing that to me."

"I understand, but you do know that you and him both are going to be suspended."

"Yes sir I know ."

"Okay, thank you for telling the truth.  Candy can you send in Mr. Horan?"

"Yes Sir."

Mr. Poe called my brother.  When he got there he was so mad Ian just wouldn't let it go.  Preston was cool with it though.

     When we got home, and after I got a long talk about hitting people, I was asked if I could cook.

"Yes, why do you need me to cook?"

"Yes, because we are going to a cookout and we were asked to bring some pasta salad, but neither of us know how to make it."Preston said.

"Okay, I thank I can make something."

"Thanks, why exactly did you hit that boy?"  Ian asked.

"Because he came up and grabbed my bum, and I don't like people doing that to me."

"Oh, I guess I should have asked you before I started yelling at you,  I'm sorry."  Ian said.

Before I could go back to start cooking Ian grabbed me and hugged me.

"I'll never let anything happen to you."

"Thanks."  I said with tears in my eyes
