Minji's POV

I just can't See Jinyoung the same way anymore.

I tried to avoid his gaze and his company.

Going to school has been an obstacle to me , trying to avoid Jinyoung is the main mission. I practically passed all the missions except for today's.

Jinyoung is walking beside me as we were going home together. Today , he came out of the school earlier than I did so he managed to see me.

It was an awkward walk home.

Help me.

" I feel like your avoiding me , " He suddenly spoke out , " Why do I feel that way ? " He suddenly stopped walking and he stared at me.

I continued walking but he grabbed my wrist and forced me to face him. I kept looking down at the ground because I'm going to melt if I look into
his eyes.

He tilt my chin up to face him but my face might be facing him but my eyeballs ain't.

" Pabo , look at me. "

I kept ignoring his eye contact until he kissed me. He literally kissed me on my precious cherry lips.

At that split second I looked at me and pushed him away as hard as I could , lucky for him i'm not Do Bong Soon.

He smiled , " You finally looked at me. "

I was going to look away when he held my chin , " If you avoid my eye contact again then I shall kiss you again. "

I was forced to look at him.

My heart was beating faster and faster.

" I like you. "

" Y-You like me ? " He nods and patted my head while smiling.

" I know you don't feel the same way back but I just want to tell you my feelings in case any other guys stole you away. "

Stole me away ?

Dude.

I'm Choi Minji , Who would want to steal me away when I look like a boiled and stepped potato ? I might be fabulous but I don't think guys wants me.

" I-I have to go home. " He grabbed my wrist before I can move , " Your mom and Minho called me to say that they are off to Incheon for a couple of days.

Shoot.

" Your coming home with me. " He wrapped his arm around my shoulders and dragged me along with him.

" This isn't home. " He nods , " Since the adults are gone , shouldn't we have a date ? " He looked at me and smiled.

" A D-Date ? " He nods.

" I confessed didn't I ? " I nod awkwardly and he chuckled. He pulled me to a Bingsu store and ordered a Cheese Cake Bingsu.

I ate my bingsu quietly while Jinyoung stared at me. I looked up but he didn't look away , instead he came nearer to my face.

" You have a little something here. " He used a napkin and clean the corner of my mouth.

Am I A Baby or what ?

" You are a baby. " He suddenly said , " You said it all out so I heard it. I can't read mind , don't worry. " He chuckled while I stared at him , dumbfounded.

I stared at him.

I can't believe that young , fragile Bae Jinyoung has now grown into a strong and Handsome Bae Jinyoung.

Thoughts of our childhood memories flashes in my mind and I realised that I might have actually liked him for a really long time but I just didn't realised it until today.

" Why did you like me ? " I suddenly asked.

" Your unique. " I rolled my eyes.

" That's what every guy said to the girl but it doesn't work on me. " He nods and points at me , " That's why I like you. "

So he likes the fact that i'm like a tomboy ?

" I like the fact that your not like other girls , you didn't care about how you look and how you act in front of others. You just want to be you. "

He smiled at me.

" So Why did you like me ? " He suddenly asked me and I was caught off guard.

" I don't like you. " He nods and sits back.

" You said it out just now. " I mentally cursed myself. I stared at the smiling Jinyoung , " I don't know either. "

He seemed shocked and a tint of redness was spotted on the apples of his cheeks.

" So you do like me ? " My eyes widened , " D-Didn't I sa- "

" You didn't say it out , I just wanted to try my luck. " I was shook , I didn't know how should I react. How can i Be so dumb to actually didn't realised that he was trying his luck ?

" I love you. " He said.

" I don't like you , I love you. Liking is for minor crushes but i'm pretty sure , i'm falling hard for you right now. " I felt heat rising in me.

He walked to me.

Every step he took gave me a mini heart attack.

He kneeled down to my level.

Took out something from his pocket.

" This is for you. "

He took out a piece of chicken wing , wrapped in a chicken wing wrapper. Don't even ask me how or why because I have no idea either.

" I know you hate flowers cause it dies , so here , It's a piece of chicken wing from your favourite store. " He gave me and I smiled as I bite into it. It's still warm.

I looked around and realised there's no one here.

" Why is this place empty ? " He looked around and smiled , " Didn't you remember that wish you told me when we were younger ? "

I shook my head.

" You said that you want to marry a man that has his own store and actually likes doing the thing that he truly loves. "

" I love Bingsu and I love you , so I got my own store. The store that I saved up for , to be more exact I saved up for 6 years of my life. " He looked around.

I was shocked.

That's why he often didn't want to buy anything.

It's because he wanted to save up for this store.

I can't believe he would actually do it just so that he could be with me or whatsoever. I didn't know he is actually saving money.

" So will you accept me ? "
