Chapter 2. Back to the Beginning

Funneh's POV

I walked into school with Kyran and for once the swarm was off of me. I was smiling so much Kyran literally asked me why I was smiling. "Do you see any people?" "No...." "Well there's your answer!" I smiled and saw Alec. I blushed a bit but I wasn't a tomato. It was barely enough to notice thankfully. Then I looked at Kyran and he was practically drooling staring at my friend Gold. I elbowed him in the side then walked to Alec. "Hey Alec!" I was grinning so much when I said that. "Hey! You seem happier then ever today!" "I am! For once I'm not being swarmed by the people in this school." Gold walked over to us then. "Hey Funneh, Alec!" "Hey Gold!" I said brightly and grinning. "Heyo" Alec said goofily. "God I missed talking to you." I told her as I hugged her. "But you texted me last night." "I know but still!" I pulled back from the hug and smiled then leaned against the wall. We were standing next to the stairs so Alec was to my right and Gold in front of me. "Hey, you guys wanna go to the roof?" I asked smiling. "Sure!" Gold replied excited. "Ok." Alec replied boringly. I love em as my friend, ireally do, but he can be really, really, REALLY boring. As we walked up the stairs Alec's hand lightly brushed up against mine. I don't know if he was trying to make me blush or if it was an accident. But I ended up blushing a bit. Great. "Why are you bluuuushing?~" Alec looked at me and said that. I knew he was trying. "Oh so you were trying to make me blush, well here's the facts. 1. You already figured it out, and used that manipulative stare of yours to get me to admit it. 2. You already know I will blush if that happens. and 3. Your failing big time at being sly about it." He smirked when I said that. "And 4. STOP SMIRKING. EVERY TIME. YOU MAKE ME BLUSH. LIKE ITS SOME BIG REWARD." He laughed when I blew up like that. "You're kinda cute when you're mad." Now that. That made me a tomato. "I'm this close to punching you Alec." Gold snickered a bit. "Oh come on now not you too." "Yep!" She continued giggling like it was her birthday and she'd conned everyone into getting her what she wanted. I facepalmed, annoying as all heck that they were teaming up against me. "You know what, I give up. You too win. Ya happy now?" "Yup" Gold said, still snickering. "Mhmm" Alec said, with that smirk of his. I swear he's lucky I can barely be 2 feet from him without blushing. Otherwise I would have punched him by now. "Urrrgghhhhhhhh God I hate it when I'm powerless over a situation. Especially one like this." "I know, that's why i like putting you in one." I sighed and continued walking. We got to the roof and we all sat down on a bench. I was in the middle. Alec to my left and Gold to my right. The benches could sit five, which was surprising. Since I wasn't allowed to leave the house without my contacts in, which was completely stupid, I took them out when I got to the roof. "Soo~ Are you two a thing yeeet~~?" Gold said, making me stiff and a tomato. Alec answered thankfully. "Nope. I like her too but apparently, she's watched by her dad 24/7 and cant be in a relationship." I looked down when I was reminded of that fact... "Yeah.. you'd think being rich is the best thing ever but.. it's really the worst.."

Alec's POV

I like Funneh, and she doesn't know it, but looking into her eyes is manipulative.. and she doesn't even try. When she admitted to it, I had to confess back. When I did she teared up a bit being reminded she can't have a relationship. If I'm honest, I have no idea why. No one else knows this, but she has a side to her that's more incredible than I can describe.. But there was also one where she was torn. It was weird.. when we're together and just us.. sometimes she'll fall apart.. I accidentally will bring up her father and.. she breaks into tears.. (Just me imagining the reader saying "So its your fault she falls apart?" XD too soon? ok.............) It hurt me a bit to see her crying so much.. she had 2 different people inside her... one strong and independent, one that could barely sit herself up... I couldn't stand what I heard about her dad. It made me really, really, REALLY wanna kick his butt. Suddenly it started to rain, but instead of running for the door, Funneh got up and started spinning around in circles. "This is to good of a day to let the rain ruin it." "Funneh your gonna catch a cold!" "So?? Today's good! And rain cannot ruin it for me!" as she continued dancing Gold got into her backpack, grabbed a rain coat and put it on. I just sat back on the bench.

Funneh's POV

I wasn't gonna let the rain ruin my day! I got up and starting spinning, letting myself go. It felt amazing! Forgetting there were people around I began to sing one of my favorite songs.

cause I don't give myself often, but I guess I'll try today

but I tore down my walls, and opened my doors, I made room for 1

When I realized there were people around I stopped singing and stiffened a bit, annnnnnd turned into a tomato/strawberry I really don't know. I walked quickly to the door and signaled them to come on. As we were walking back inside, Alec gave me that stupid smirk AGAIN! I glared at him dead in the eye. His eyes widened a bit and he stopped smirking. Which made me smirk. "What? A glare from a girl scare ya?" He kept walking and was CLEARLY blushing! HA! Take that! I elbowed him in the side and smirked. "You two are adorable!" I could tell Gold was holding back 90% of her fangirl and yet still exploded. I don't even know what she would be like if she let all 100% out. Gave me chills thinking about it. "You okay?" Alec was looking at me  when I got chills. "Yeah I'm fine." I whispered over to him "I'll tell ya later" He nodded. When we got down we looked at our schedules, and we all ended up having almost identical schedules!! Which ROCKED! While we were walking to class, all three of us mind you, I noticed Alec, not really staring just glancing my way every once in a while. I squinted while looking at him, confused as all heck. When he noticed her had a bit of red spread across his face. I was still clueless. "We get it you like looking at me." Alec said with a smirk. "Oh no, don't put the fact you kept looking over here on me." Alec looked up and smirked. "No idea what you're talking about" I looked strait up, annoyed. "I'm not even gonna try."
