"Mum I'm going to be fine" I reassured my mum but she still didn't let go of me. "It's not like I'm getting married or anything it's just college and you can call me when ever you want".

"Come on honey you don't want Adora to miss her flight do you" my dad tried to convince her then she finally let go.

"But promise me you wouldn't do drugs or become a prostitute, just because we're in different places doesn't mean you have to misbehave"

"Mum I wouldn't how many times are going to have this conversation"

"With that attitude I'll say we should have it again" my mum said and I groan.

"Mum I'm going to be fine and aunty Fiona lives very close to the campus so she can keep an eye on me" I said a little frustrated cause it's very annoying we talked about this when I received the admission letter from Cambridge university why do we have to do this an hour before my flight leaves.

"Okay honey I love you" my mum finally said then hugged me and I was glad we finally ended the conversation.

My dad drove me to the airport considering the fact that we weren't close at all there wasn't much to talk about. I was so happy when I finally got on the plane it was like I was leaving behind all my problems and starting over it felt amazing.

I was so excited when I got to the university it has always been my dream to go to Cambridge and finding out I got the scholarships was just like a dream.

I went to the front desk to check in and I got my dorm room number and key. I didn't both knocking since I had the key so I just opened it no one was in the very big dorm room so I dragged my bags in and started unpacking it didn't take long since I didn't bring a lot of things with me so in about half an hour I was done so I decided to explore the campus since it was just 3:45pm and the dorms were practically empty except for the people who just came like me I grabbed my phone and jacket and I left the room.

I had gotten a map in case I got lost so I found out were the classes were and the cafeteria were and some other places then I found myself in a lounge with a lot of people who were just chatting and holding red cups and dancing I kinda felt lonely cause I didn't know anyone here so I just sat down on an empty seat watching people dance.

"Excuse me can you please pass my phone" said a girl with red hair and nice green eyes. I looked around me and found an iPhone 7 customised with pink stones and glitter on it. " Thanks I'm Hannah by the way"

"I'm Adora"

"Cool I'm gonna go now nice meeting you Adora" she said and walked way to a group of people. Weird

I was kinda getting bored so I decided to go back to my room. I opened the door and the light were off and I was hearing loud moaning. God please don't tell me people are having sex in my room

Thankfully it was just the TV I walked in and turned on the lights to find a girl with long black hair was wearing black glasses and had brown eyes. Guess my new roommate

"Hey I'm Danielle your roommate" she said with a small smile.

"I'm Adora" I said making my way to my bed.

"So..... " she said obviously wanting the conversation to go on when I clearly don't want it to. "what's your major"

"I'm a dance major"

"Cool I'm fashion major" she said and there was a knock on the door."come in" she yelled at the person outside the door and then the girl I had met not quite long ago came in.

"Hey Adora right" she asked and I nodded.

"you know each other" Daniella asked raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah we met at the party" she said sitting down on Daniella's bed. "Girl I've got a lot of gossip for you" Hannah said to Daniella and I got changed to my night gown and I tried to fall asleep thinking of how college was going to be.
