Hello! We meet again. Today you will learn about what you should and should not feed your cat. I will list the most important things that your cat should eat, and if you have any questions, message me. Alright, cat lovers! Lettuce begin! (like my joke? No!? Okay, I'll stop.)
We're going to jump straight into number one because I think it is the most important.
1. Chocolate🍫
Chocolate is a HUGE problem if a cat will eat a piece. Anything with chocolate is dangerous, including chocolate ice cream, chocolate milk, and much more! If you are eating some chocolate ice cream, and your cat smells it, they get a bit "nosy!" Ha ha! Don't you get my joke?! Okay, I get, you are here to learn about cats, not stupid jokes. But seriously, don't let your cat have a taste of any chocolate. Okay, I but you are nagging me to tell you why chocolate is bad for your cat. Get ready for a little bit of science! Chocolate contains a toxic, theobromine, which is found in all chocolate, including white chocolate. If your cat eats chocolate, it can lead to abnormal heart rhythm, tremors, seizures, and even death. WARNING! The most dangerous chocolates for your cat is dark chocolate and unsweetened baking chocolate!
2. Alcohol🍺
Okay, I don't even know what kind of person would give their cat a drop of any kind of alcohol. A messed up person! Moving on meow, so alcohol with harm any cat tremendously. (Did you like my "moving on meow" joke?!) Two tablespoons of whiskey could put a five-pound cat in a coma, and any more would cause death. If a cat would drink alcohol, it would cause a problem with her/his liver and brain.
3. 🥛
I know that people will think this is crazy since you see cats drinking milk in cartoons, but unfortunately, eight out of ten cats are lactose intolerant. I say this one is pretty important, judging that my cat, Sugar, is lactose intolerant. If your cat is lactose intolerant, and they eat or drink anything with dairy in it, they could puke or have diarrhea, as gross as it sounds. If you want to avoid cleaning up cat puke and diarrhea, do not give your cat any milk or dairy.
4. Garlic and Onion🌰
I know what you are thinking. Why would a cat ever eat garlic or onion? Well, they can be curious and something new will be something they will want to investigate. Do NOT let their curiosity get the best of them. If your cat eats anything that has garlic or onion in it, the red blood cells in your cat's body will break down and your cat will probably die. I would not want my cat or your cat to die!
5. Grapes N' Raisins🍇
So, is your cat doing good? Does he/she deserve a treat? Well, cat treats are in the cabinet. Oh no! The cat treats are all gone! "Put those grapes and raisins away! You have no idea what they do to cats!" That person who was talking is right. The cat owner should not feed his/her cat raisins and grapes because they do more to your cat than treat time. They can cause kidney failure for your cat, and it is still not known why this happens. Repeating vomiting and hyperactivity is an early sign that your cat has eaten grapes and raisins.Even if your cat has consumed a single grape and has done no harm, it is still a good idea to leave your grapes in the fridge and your raisins in the pantry.
6. Caffeine🥃(Soda, Pop)
Caffeine in large quantities can be fatal for a cat. There is also no antidote, so be extremely careful of where you set down your soda can. Symptoms of caffeine include restlessness, rapid breathing, heart palpitations, muscle tremors, and fits. I advise that you should keep drinks such as coffee, tea, and other drinks that contain caffeine away from your beloved kitty so you won't have to watch him/her suffer!
Alright, cat lovers! That must have been very painful to read all of the suffering cats go through because of mostly human creations! I have just listed the most interesting ones that were told to me and that wraps it up for today! Goodbye cat lovers!
