Chapter 1: Cloud Nine or Not!!
I was walking slowly down to my english class whilst texting my mum on my phone. My spelling on my phone was terrrible but i had to type this message to my mum before any teachers caught me.
Out of the blue Simon ran up behind me around my eyes and said, "guess who?" I could here the grin in his voice. " Ummm...... the tooth fairy". i replied sarcastically. "HaHa very funny", he replied cooly.
Once again he was sweating and slighlty hunched from the books on his back. He was such a clutz but i loved him so much!!
Simon was sort of a geek! Actually he was a geek!! He has been collecting Harry Potter Stickers for his bedroom wallls since he was 8 years old and he still hasnt stop collecting them and pitting them on his wall. Which by the way is purple.
Okay Okay its not purple exactly. Its a very light blue. But when you look at it in the light i swear its purple.
Any way enough about his bedroom. More about Simon. I am his only friend which is kind of sad because he is a really nice guy if you get to know him.
And then theres me. Karen. Im really short. and i mean small. Im in 3rd year and im so small all my freinds tower over me.
Theres the difference betwwen me and Simon. I have piles of friends. But Simon is my number 1 friend. I have long chesnut coloured hair down to my waist and dark blue eyes.
My girl friends say im pretty and i should dress more like a girl but really i just love wearing my holister hoodie, my baggy trousers and blue converse.
I give Simon a quick kiss on the cheek and tell him ill see him after school and walk into English. I love english its my favourite subject. And Im saying that not just because Jake Hollands in that class.
Okay maybe i am. But seriously he is the hotest boy alive. In our school. All the girls swoon over him. Including me, I must admit. And the best part is I sit beside him in English.
He has never talled to me before. And ive nevr puckered up the courage to take to him out of fear ill droul or talk like and alien.
I tool my seat next to him and brought out my english books before Mr. White head entered. Out of nowhere Jake turns to me and says. " I knwo this is so out of like nowhere but would you like to see a kovie or something on Saturday night."
He slighlty raised his eyebrows when he spoke. Thats when i slowly started to dirft off into a little world of my own in pure ecstasy. I replied not so cooly as him " ahhh....... we.... ye..... suree," he looked at me a bit funny, but then gave me the bigest smile.
All through class i could not stop smiling. Suddenly the bell went and Jake gave me his number and told me he would call me later. I ran out the room my might to tell Simon the great news.
I mean Jake. Jake Hollands. Aked me out?? OMG!!! I saw Simon at his locker trying furoiusly to push 5 books in to his back at the same time. I ran to him" Guesss what?" I exclaimed.
His face brightened up when he saw me." Jake Hollands Just asked me out". and then his face sagged he looked like he was going to cry. " Whats wrong?" I cried. He looked at me and said " He is not right for you. He is just going to break your heart".
That was when i heard a pop. My happy bubble just burst.
