From Friends to Sisters

Chapter 1(direction)

Cindy's POV.

It was summer in 2002 and I was going to my first summer camp, it was an animal camp. My mom, Rachael, and my dad, Doug, (get the reference no just me ok) said I would have fun here and make lots of friends here, but I wasn't so sure. The car stopped in the parking lot then I stepped out of the sky blue car and walked through the doors of the animal camp. I saw about one hundred kids here the camp was very big there was a hiking trail that split into three and probably split farther down the trails as well, there were also a bunch of animal fences for different species. " Are you ready for your first day at camp, Cindy? " My mom asked me, I nodded my head trying to be brave but I am really shy and don't like leaving my parents that often. She let go of my hand as one of the camp leaders came to assign our cabins to us, I got the fennec fox cabin with another girl and two boys I didn't know they're name's it just says how many were in a cabin. I walked to my cabin and I was the first there then I saw another girl sprinting to the cabin. " I GOT DIBS ON THE TOP BUNK!!! " She yelled as she ran past me. This can't be the girl I was sharing a cabin with I thought. She has way too much energy for her own good I'll never make any friends if they're all this hyper. Then a boy with dusty brown hair ran past me yelling " HEY VIXY WAIT FOR ME!!! " I shook my head as I heard a faint familiar voice, I turned around to see a boy that rides my school bus. " Hello aren't you the girl that sits in front of me on the school bus in L.A? " He asked me, I nodded my head yes still not talking. " My name's Mark i didn't know you'd be coming here since its so far away from there, but its nice to meet you somewhere that wasn't boring. " He held out his hand for me to shake which I hesitatly shook. " What's yours? " He asked " Cindy " I replied. " So what cabin are you going to? " He asked probably trying to start a conversation. Why does he have to talk to me out of all the people in the camp why me. " The fennec fox cabin " I said just loud enough for him to hear. " Cool that's the one I'm staying in I'll show you the way there " he said walking in a different direction than I was. I followed him to a small cabin with a fennec fox on it, I heard a thud come from inside the cabin I looked at Mark who returned with a look of confusion. He opened the door to find the same boy and girl that ran past me wrestling on the floor. He walked forward to try and split them apart, I stepped forward also to try and make a point when they stopped Mark asked " why were you two fighting? " They both looked at each other and then yelled " INTRUDERS!!! " And tackled us to the ground.

Vixy's POV.

Me and Jack just tackled this girl and boy that just came into our cabin, OUR CABIN!!! She just laughed awkwardly and lightly pushed me off while Jack was wrestling with the boy in a red flannel and blue jean pants. The girl brushed off her pink unbuttoned flannel and blue jeans. " Did you two plan this outfit together or what? " I said to the boy and girl that invaded me and Jack's fortresses of hyperness. " No we didn't " the boy in the red flannel said, I nodded my head. " State y'alls names and business. " I said the boy said with a bow " my name is Mark and this is Cindy we have come only for shelter and warmth. " " Very well you both shall take the bottom bunks. " They both set up their things such as making their beds and putting their clothes in the drawers you know all the boring stuff. So me and Jack went outside to see the animals. " When I'm older I'm gonna be a vet and get a fennec fox " I said to Jack he nodded his head. " Well when I'm older I'm gonna get paid to play video games all day. " I laughed " you can't do that stupid. " " Ya you can " " No " "Ya " No " " Ya " then Mark said " girls girls your both pretty now can we have a good time or not? " " No " I said the rest of them laughed I joined them and we went walking into a building with different animals in it. " So what did you guys sign up for here? " " I'm going to do the reptile house and I adopted a raccoon " Jack said. " I picked the rodent house and adopted a squirrel " said Mark. " I got the baby animals and I adopted a fennec fox what about you Cindy? " I said turning to face her. " I did the baby animals also and adopted a pygmy goat. " " Well let's go " I said as we all split up and I grabbed Cindy's hand and ran to the baby animals.

TIME SKIP TO LUNCH***

It was now lunch time and I sat with my group " Hey Markimoo, Jackaboy, and last but not least Kitty. " We were sitting in a square me with Jack on my right next to him is Mark, next to Mark is Cindy and next to Cindy is me. " So did you girls have fun taking care of and learning about the animals? " Jack asked me and Cindy. " Ya it was fun I got to take care of the baby opossums, coyotes, raccoons, and foxes. Cindy took care of the baby tigers, wolves, cougars, and wallababies. " The boys nodded their heads and then talked about what they did. Then lunch was over and it was time to take care for the animals we adopted I got two fennec foxes to take care of since nobody adopted the other one. When ever that was done we got to go back to our cabins. " Hey Vixy wanna race me? " Jack asked the answer was obvious and I nodded my head. " 3. 2. 1. Go! " We said at the same time as we sprinted towards the cabin racing past Mark and Cindy again, but this time they joined us. " I WIN!!! " I yelled for the world to know. Cindy was in close second, Jack in very close third, and poor Mark in last. The sun was setting and we went to sleep on our bunk beds me and Jack on top and Mark and Cindy on bottom.
