"So you're telling me that you have a sister that you never bothered to mention?" Rom asked for about the fifth time.

"Well it never came up!" I snapped, piling scrambled eggs onto my plate.

"She seems like a nice girl, although not too fond of the company she's with," Harry says, eyeing Alessia.

She's sitting by that black haired girl, laughing and throwing bits of food at Draco, who looks very sleepy and slightly annoyed but throws a piece of bacon at Alesia's head.

"At least she's making friends?" Ron volunteers and I glare at him.

"She's making friends with the wrong sort Ronald! She was placed in Gryffindor, she should've came to the common rooms last night, she should've sat at our table, she-" I rant but Harry places a calming hand on my arm.

"Mione, it's okay. At least she's settling in and isn't having an anxiety attack from what I'm seeing. She's even made Draco smile, I mean, look at him! I don't think I've ever seen him without a snarl or a sly grin on his face," Harry says softly and I sigh.

"You're right. We have Charms with them next period, maybe I can get her to talk to me then," I tell Harry and I turn away from staring at Alessia to see that Harry was right.

The way Draco looked at Alessia.....strange...

"Are you hearing me at all?"

"What?" I say, turning to look at Lydia beside me. She laughed and rolled her eyes before saying again, "I saaaaaid, what do you think of Alessia?"

"Erm, what about her?" I stutter.

"Cmon! You've only had your eyes locked on her for like the entire breakfast period!" Lydia's mischievous green eyes sparkle.

"Whatever you're thinking Lydia Ebony Smith, let it go," I warn.

She sticks out her pink bottom lip. "Aw come on! You can trust me! You fancy her a bit don't you?" She keeps nagging at me.

I run my hands through my blonde hair in frustration at the red haired girl.

"I KNEW IT!" She whisper/shouts.

"SHUT UP!" I whisper/shout back.

She giggles like a toddler and I huff. "I don't like Alessia Granger. She's talks to much, she turned me into a bloody rock the first time I met her! Besides, she was holding Jeremy's hand when she walked into breakfast, she probably fancies him so keep that large trap of yours shut," I say coldly to Lydia and with that I stand up and leave.

I'm walking the corridors, still thinking of what Lydia said.

I didn't fancy Alessia, and that thought never crossed my mind. Sure she was pretty and all but she was a mudblood like her sister and I wasn't going to date someone related to Hermione Granger. Not at all.

I sat in the classroom, choosing a seat by Jade and Jeremy.

My first lesson! How exciting!

"I know! You're gonna love it!" Jade smiles and then blushes. "Whoops I didn't mean to," but I shake my head.

"It's no biggie Jade! If I had a talent like that I'd probably always be reading someone's thoughts," I admit.

"Me too, because I would totally cheat off the smartest person in this class then!" And Jade and I laugh.
