Chapter 6 part 3; Toronto

Cass POV

"Well, isn't she a pleasant ray of sunshine" I said to Carm as I rolled my eyes. We both laughed and finished stocking the dressing room. The guys came out to the back to hang and get amped before the show. Carm and I just sat on the couches. I stayed with my eyes glued to my phone so I didn't have to see Maggie sitting on Graysons lap while Carm and Ethan talked. I started to feel eyes burning a hole in the side of my head, and I was right. I looked to my left and saw Grayson sitting on the small one sitter with Maggie on his lap talking to him while he was looking at me.

I got up and told Carm that I was just going to head outside for a second for some fresh air. I left the dressing room and headed to the front of the arena. I leaned up against the building and ran my fingers through my hair. I let out a sigh and I felt a hand on my shoulder "Hey, are you okay?" I turned to match the voice with a face and my eyes landed on Grayson. "Uh, yeah I'm fine. Thanks" I shot him a fake smile before shifting my body off the building and looking away from him. "Hey, hey, hey. What's up with you?" Grayson tilted my head up at him. "Nothing, I'm just staying in my lane..." I mumbled and looked away from him.

He looked at me with a confused look on his face, "what did you say Cass?" I looked over at Grayson and let out a sigh, "listen Gray, your girlfriend really doesn't like me for some reason. She told me to stay in my lane, which means to stay away from you. I don't want you guys to have any problems and I don't want to get in the way of your relationship. I'll back off."

Grayson ran his fingers through his hair and looked at me, "Cass I didn't know this all happened. She really is a good person so I don't understand why she would say that. I'm not even sure if I would even call her my girlfriend. We are just trying to see if we can fix what we had. Listen, I'll talk to her after the show tonight how about that? Maybe we can all hang out?" He looked at me with hope in his eyes. "Carm and I were actually going to Ripleys Aquarium after the show. Did you guys want to come too? It's actually pretty awesome." I smiled up at Grayson to see that he was smiling back.

"I'd really like that Cass." He looked down at his phone and told me that we should probably head inside so he could get ready. We walked into the dressing room together to see Carm and Ethan completely hitting it off and Maggie staring at Grayson and I.

The guys got ready and headed out on stage. The concert and meet and greet completely flew by. We all started getting ready when Grayson told us he'd meet us out front he just had to talk to Maggie first.

Graysons POV

I told everyone that I'd meet them outside because I had to figure what was going on between Maggie and Cass. Yes, Maggie was my girlfriend but Cass was turning into one of my closest friends. I couldn't have them hating each other so I needed to get to the bottom of this.

"What did you need to talk to me about Gray?" Maggie said while looking up at me with her dark brown eyes. "Listen Mags, I heard what you said to Cass. Why did you tell her to stay away from me? Technically we aren't even dating so you have no right to tell people if they can or can't talk to me." It was weird, Maggies face went from confused to shocked to upset in the matter of 0.825 seconds.

"Is that what she told you Gray? Because it is not true. I went back stage to get to know her and Carm. We were all talking and she told me how she was leading both you and your brother on. She wanted to see which twin she could get. Grayson, she's not as sweet and innocent as you think."

I couldn't believe what Maggie was saying but it all kind of made sense. Cass did flirt with me and she did kiss my brother, well my brother kissed her but that's beside the point. I knew Maggie wasn't a bad person. Maggie interrupted my thoughts.

"Listen Gray, I'm just looking out for you. Something I always did, even in school when everyone was against you guys, I was there. I would never pin people away from you Grayson." She placed her hand on my upper arm and looked up at me. "I just don't want you to get hurt. I don't think she is going to distance herself from you, maybe you should distance yourself from her. You know for the best." She looked up at me and I met her gaze. I smiled at her and planted a kiss on her lips. Maybe Maggie really did mean well, maybe she did want what was best for me, and maybe she is changing.

I stuck my arm out so she could link herself with me before kissing her on the head and we walked outside to meet everyone. I saw Ethan, Carm and Cass laughing and Cass and I made eye contact and I quickly looked away and grabbed Maggies hand. Cass looked right away from us. After that, they leaded the way to the aquarium.
