Nothing relieves stress like a nice drink.  So I head straight for my favorite bar.  Most bars here don't care if you're under the legal drinking age, they just want to make some money off of you.

I order a cosmo, and put my head down.  What the hell am I gonna do?  I don't even know if Austin is alive.  I could go to jail, but before my thoughts torture me too much, I hear a shy voice ask me something.

"You okay there," a handsome guy asks.

I look up, shocked that anyone was actually talking to me.

   "Not really." I squeak out.

"Well my name is Sam.  Sam Winchester.  I'm a really good listener, if you wanna talk about it."

"Well Sam, that is really generous, but you don't have to do that.  I'm pretty sure you don't want to hear about my problems."

   "No I do." Sam insists.

Dang he's hot.  He cares so much, but why?  Not like that should bother me, he just wants to help.  I need his number!  Those eyes...they're catlike.  His hair...oh how it fans out in the back.  I want him.  I want him bad!

"Fine, I'll tell you.  Promise not to judge!"

   "I wouldn't dare," says Sam.

He gives me a cute little smirk.

"Well this kid asked me to kill his girlfriend for him.  I couldn't do that.  I told him I would, but just to buy me time.  Well when he showed this whole premeditated plan, I knew he was psychopath.  I made a run for it.  Well eventually, I was cornered.  I pulled out my pocket knife and started flailing it around.  Well he charged at me.  He just ran right at it.  He dropped to the floor and I ran out and came here." I spit all that out in under thirty seconds.

"Wow!  Um, I wasn't expecting that from you!" Sam said in an intrigued tone.

"Oh God, I hope I didn't just scare you off."

"Not at all.  I think it was pretty badass."

"Thanks.  By the way, do you know what it means when someone's eyes flicker black?" I asked.

Sam froze.  I take that as a yes.

"You saw someone's eyes flicker black?" He asked nervously.

"Yeah, that's kinda why I'm asking you."

"Well um, now it's my turn to tell a story.  No judging."

   "I wouldn't dare!" I say while smiling.

"My brother and I hunt demons.  Their eyes flicker black.  It's all I've really known.  Demons that is.  It's sorta the family business.  Now you probably think I'm crazy." He says shyly.

"I believe you.  It explains a lot of things.  Like why people act bipolar sometimes."

Sam laughs and says, "Yeah exactly.  When they start to act bipolar, it's the demon talking."

He gives me a big smile.

   I return the smile.

I surprise myself by what I say next, "I really like you!  You're right, you are a great listener!"

"Why thank you.  You're really pretty!"

I blush at that.  Mr.Demon- hunter just called me pretty.  I deserve an award!

"As much as I love that you're flirting with me, do you think you can help me?"

"I think I can!  Give me your number.  I'll talk with my brother and then give you a call.  Sound good?"

"Yes, thank you so much!  By the way, my name is Elizabeth."

"No problem, Liz.  Can I call you that?"

"I'd love if you did!"  I say in a charming voice.

He hugs me and I hug him back.  I want him to be mine.  It seems like he likes me.  I mean he told me something that most people would declare him insane for saying that.  I can tell something's bothering him, but what?

What person in their right mind calls someone at six in the morning on Saturday.

"Hello," I answer in a sleepy tone.

"Liz, hey it's Sam!  Uh sorry if I woke you up."  Sam said a little embarrassed.

  "Oh hey.  Nah, it's fine."

"Well it looks like my brother and I can help you."  He replied in an encouraging way.

"Really?  Thank you so much!  When do we get started?"  I exclaimed.

"It's no problem, Liz.  How about now?"

   "Now's perfect!"  I say excitedly.

We said our goodbyes and picked a place to meet.  This day is gonna be amazing.  Why am I acting like a giddy high school girl?  Oh wait, I am one.

What do y'all think? Was turning it to a Supernatural fanfic a good move? Please comment!
