Water trickled on the cold hard pavement as I walked through the light rain. The sky was pale gray, which sucked some of the colors out of my small town. I loved the rain, its so peaceful, with the scent of its strong aroma filling my lungs, I feel so relaxed.
I finish off my quiet stroll walking into a large brick building, its my highschool.

'Ugh, another day at this depressing hell hole' I think sulking that I cant just stroll in the rain longer

With a shove and a loud shriek of its hinges, the large metal doors swung open slowly as I walked through them into filled hallways full of chaos and chatter from passerby's. I slip through the bunches of people trying not to bump anyone. I make it to my locker, its old tan paint chipped to reveal rusted metal, I try to open it but it refuses to give in. Its hinges rusted and broken gave in and the door comes off the small dark slot. I sigh, gather my items and proceed to the office. I stumble into the brightly lit front office, its cream colored walls, filled bulletin boards, and the office woman who I believe is in her sixties. She has dark brown hair with tasteful silver streals in a tight top bun, she's wearing a white sweater  with a bluejay pin and a black skirt. I approach the kind looking lady who sees me and points to a black chair. I stay there for a few minuets when I heard a door creak open to reveal a tall maroon haired boy with emerald eyes and sharp features, he wore a black t-shirt that looked tight and faded blue jeans. The keys on his bag jingled as he walked past me out the door. I zoned out and didn't hear my name called  until a tanned man with neatly combed hair  in a blue suit was right in front of me.

     "Mr.Velvet?"

"Y-yes, thats me" I snap back into reality and follow him into his office and take a seat. He walks around his wooden neatly arranged desk and sat down in a black leather computer chair.

"So,  I assume you want a new locker?" he asked and I dont understand for a second, I never said a word to the woman at the desk, Then I remembered I had my locker door in my hands

"O-oh, yeah, um, I went to get my stuff and it broke off, sorry." I stuttered nervously hoping I wont have to pay for it

"I'll have you in a new locker after school if you dont mind carrying your things for today" he looked at me and I could see his dark eyes. I saw the name plate one his desk.

"that's fine, Mr.forer." I quickly got up and fled to my first period.
