As I'm about to swing the brick at my stalker, he opens the gap in my clothes and I drop my brick. Instead of the stalker, I find my best guy friend from school.

"EZRA!!! What the hell?!!" I scream and hug him tight.

"Well, I texted you, and I tried to knock, but you didn't answer, so I used the key you gave me to kind of... You know..." I grin at my best friend.

"You let yourself in?" He plasters a goofy grin on his face that makes me smile.

"Something like that...." I pull Ezra into my living room and sit him down on the couch.

"Stay here, I'll be right back. And don't you DARE eat all my ice cream again!!!" I yell while walking into the bathroom.

"Aye aye captain." I hear from my living room. I giggle to myself and close the door to the bathroom.

'Let me just go through my texts...' I think to myself. I sit on the edge of my bathtub and take my phone out of the pocket I have it in.

Ezra: Hey Lily!! Let me in!!!!

Ezra: Im gonna let myself in here in a min... 🤔

Unknown: So, whos the dude?

Unknown: Lily, why are you hiding in your closet like that?

*PING*

Unknown: I know you read my messages. I can see you sitting on your bathtub.

What. The. Actual. Fuck.

I scream and chuck my phone across the room, shattering the screen.

'Great..' I think to myself.

I hear Ezra run to the bathroom. "LILY!!! Are you okay?!?" I stand up, my hands super shaky, and open the bathroom door.

"Yeah, I'm fine.. I saw this big ass spider and threw my phone at it.. Spider's gone but my phone, well, RIP phone.." Ezra laughs and pulls me into a hug.

"As long as you're alright, can we go eat ice cream now?!" Ezra asks while jumping up and down. I laugh at my best friend.

"Of course!" Ezra runs to my kitchen, leaving me standing there with a worried feeling in my stomach.
