— AARDE.
"Please stay here and wait for further instructions," the guard instructed the four chosen ladies and left them in the small room. The walls were painted in different colors, capturing the youngest's eyes the moment they walked in. The chandelier on the ceiling made her gawk in awe.
There were at least three shelves full of books at the corner of the room. The Neró girl wasted no time running towards it and grabbing a book. She plopped down on one of the chairs and started reading while the other two were still impressed with the design.
The room reminded Pranpriya Manoban—or Lisa, as what people in her class calls her—of her friend, Bambam, who died because of a disease. His personality and his hair were as colorful as the walls. Lisa couldn't help but snicker silently at the thought of his wacky choices of hair colors. Oh, how she miss him dearly.
Lisa sat on the chair near the Neró girl and watched her until a boy entered the room with a grin and a cart full of milk and cookies. "Hello, your highness-es!" He greeted the four. They all greeted back and went back to what they were doing. Well, except for the girl.
She looked at the boy with comforting eyes and smiled. "You remind me of my brother," she spoke, catching the attention of the boy who was placing the snacks on the table. "What's your name?"
"My name is Sanha, your highness."
"Please, don't call me that," she chuckled. "Call me Rosé." Rosé... what a nice name.
