As my alarm sounds at 6:00 a.m. I drag myself out of bed. I'm Sydnie and I'm 16 years old. I live in an apartment all by myself. My parents got divorced when I was younger, and my mom and brothers just recently got into a major car crash. As I get dressed for my crappy day at work. I put on my skinny jeans and my 5 second of summer crop top.

As I entered my car, I see that someone is moving in next door. Heading to work is the worst thing ever, all the trafic and people staring at me I hate it.

"Hey Sydnie," I heard Paul say. I waved my hand at him and kept my head down. I never have liked talking to people once my mom and brothers died.

Opening the elevator door, the cutest boy is standing there. He's austrilian I hear in his voice as he says 'hello.' Once again I waved and went on my phone. What' the point, no one texts me anyways?

The boy in the elevator next to me keeps looking over at me. "Hey, I'm Luke. Your really cute. Here's my number," He says and he takes my phone and puts in his number. He leaves the elevator as I wave bye at him. "Wow, he's really cute!" I say to myself staring down at my phone with the boy's phone number.

As the elevator stops at my floor, I get off and slowly walk to my office. Everyone is saying "hey" and "hi." But what I think is they don't realize I'm not talking. At all. So I just ignore everyone. Ever since my mom and brothers died I found no point in talking to anyone. I always think that no one is going to listen. I walk into my office and what do I do? Of course, I slipped.

I got up and brushed myself off hoping that no one would notice.
