The town was silent, it was almost as if they had entered a murkey dream, nothing moved, the moon was high in the sky, full in fact. "We should really have them add an elevator to those steps, man it's been years since I walked down them" The blind warrior chuckled. "The inn is right up ahead if i remember correctly" They turned around the bend to see a building in shambles. "The inn?" Gabriel asked, "But of course, nothing ever goes as planned in this world" "I suppose we could look into the pub." He turned around and dashed off in the distance only to return a few moments later "Damn it, that's been ransacked too." He was quite distraught. "My favorite building in this whole miserable place, now we've got no were to eat and no were to stay, the keepers sleep at night, the king is no were to be found." Just as he finished the sentence a paladin shouted "oii". They all turned to look at him, a thought ran through his head "oh.. what did i just do, they're looking at me.. with such maddening content.. almost as if they were madmen.." "yes?" The blind warrior stood beside him, Shadow and Gabriel looked at each other "wasn't he just right here?" Shadow asked, "yep" Gabriel replied.
"I heard of your dilemma, and you guys can uh.."
"yes?" The blind warrior was grinning.
"Timid are we?" He asked the paladin.
"Uhh.. yeah.. a little.." He sort of sulked "Well, you can stay with me?" he choked it out almost as if it was difficult to say. "oh gods.. what have i done, they are surely madmen.." He thought to himself. "No, we might be mad, but for you to consider we madmen, you are the madman." The blind warrior glared at the paladin and started to think "I wonder, if this guy will realize that im just pulling his chain."
"What?.." he stood confused, "you can?"
The blind warrior interrupted "of course, I'm just messing with you, of course we will stay, don't worry all we need is a bed to lay our heads and something to fill our bellies."
They all walked next to each other in a line, oddly perfect for a line Shadow thought to himself, in perfect sync. The blind warrior looked down and noticed it, he slowed down slightly in order to break the anomaly. They arrived at a nice looking house, any larger and it could be considered a mansion.
"Welcome, to the house of the del's, held by my ansestry of course, the delians." "Well, make yourselves at home, now that you've proven you're not a threat you can stay whenever you'd like, only if you'll be a friend." He smiled, "of course" Shadow and Gabriel replied in sync, they looked at eachother then back at the paladin.
They walked into the house, "Please, prepare us dinner" the paladin asked a servent "of course milord" She stumbled off into the unknown (to the party).
"Your room is directly up these steps, it's not small so sharing it shouldn't be an issue. Dinner will be done shortly, make yourselves at home." The paladin walked up the steps and down the right hallway.
"This seems all too perfectly layed out" the blind warrior looked around, "if i remember correctly the dels.. they were a part of the people who slaughtered.." He stopped talking, his eyes got big. "Shadow, Gabriel, Don't mention your ansestrial roots.. to this man okay?." He had begun to think, "If they tell him who they are, he will not hesitate to make them look clearly evil."
"oh but why?" Gabriel cocked his head sideways, "well, there would be quite an issue, since the Dels are such a prestigious group of people." "It would be dis respectful" The blind warrior lied through his teeth, Shadow and Gabriel noticed it but kept silent.
"please, come make yourselfs at home" The paladins voice echoed throughout the hallway, they followed his voice, to there room. It was really quite a large room, almost as if it could accomodate ten people who were sparring. "This is origionally, a training room but we've opened it up to guests, when they come along." Three beds were already made, the room had the distinct feeling of hatred in it.
