"What happened last night?" I asked, digging into the twitching corpse of the deer. My parents faces went pale. "You don't need to worry about that," my father spoke up, pushing me more food. I ripped some more dead flesh from the carcass. I shrugged my shoulders and let it go; for now. I could ask some of the other wolfs later when I go out.
I finished the rest of the deer, leaving just the bone. "That was amazing." My parents nodded in appreciation. "Please may I leave the cave today, father?" Mother and father looked at each other with concern. "Not today, dear. Get to work, me and your father are going to get the rest of the pack." Explained mother. My face dropped. "Oh... Okay..." I stood up and slowly walked off into the little corner of the cave to study. I don't understand why I got to study, I mean... It's not like I'm ever going to go to what full humans call 'school.' Is it?
