Chapter Thirteen : Date

Jace P.O.V.

Walking with Alex, I turned back to look for that one person, forgetting that i just randomly took someone's date. "Ahmm." I turned to the sound. "Oh God im so sorry Alex I-i-i was just ......" I slowly felt guilt rising "It's Okay, but you owe me a date." I looked up and stared at him dumbfounded. "Umm im sorry...... How bout tomorrow afterschool?" He smirked as i finished speaking. Soon before i even realized, I was dragging Alex everywhere. When in reached 5pm i started to get hungry so we turned around and headed towards the food court. Walking there I took out my phone and realized "Holy Crab! 120 missed calls and 100 messages." but when i thought about it. "It's my fault." I looked down and speeded up. We reached the food court and i was attacked by hugs. They were all killing me as i laid there and softly muttered "Sorry Guys." I got up and noticed Robert. I looked at him and punched his arm and quickly apologized. I tried to walk faster but someone caught me and threw me to the air. "Let me down!" I squealed. He gave me a Never-Do-That-Again Look. He grabbed my arm and pulled me off. "Where are we going?" I said while he dragged me away from the exit. We walked into the store that I eyed at when I was with him. "why are we here?" No reply. He stayed quiet until he spotted this lovely pink frilled skirt that caught my eye. He went to purchase it while i walked out of the store. "Jace?!" I looked up to the sound of someone's voice. I couldnt believe it "Jaeeeeeee! I missed you sooo much!" i ran towards him and squeezed him to death. "Jace. You're. Killing. Me." I let go of him and for that moment i forgot about Robert. "Jace." I turned around and looked straight at him. "Lets go back im starving." Forgetting the situation and everything I went on and just hung out with Jae. We reached the food court and that was when I introduced Jae. "This is Jae. My childhood best friend." Jae looked at me and i smiled. that was when Cristy pulled me away from the group and said "That Jae guy is only your best friend? The way he looks at you -----." She was interrupted when Robert came by and grabbed my wrist to the food places. I thought about everything that has gone on and i looked up and smirked "Jealous Much?!" Robert turned around but didnt say anything. He slowly came close to my ear and whispered "You wish." He stuck out his tongue and continued to look for a great place to eat at. We all decided get chinese food instead. Jae looked at me in silence. "What?" I said not sounding rude. "Nothing."

Jae P.O.V.

"This is Jae. My childhood best friend." That line repeated over and over in my head. She is kinda dense when it comes to love.... I guess she never realized it. After all, all I am to her is her childhood friend she wouldn't realize she was more than that to me.
