Natsu P.O.V.
After walking a few blocks to Lucy's house in complete silence, we finally made it. At first it seemed weird going into my enemies house, but after awhile things seemed to naturally get better. Inside, Lucy's house was clean and neat. As soon as I walked inside I was in the living room. Lucy then took me to the guest room upstairs, beside her room, and turned the lights on.

"This is it. I know it isn't much but..."

I mindlessly cut her off and said, " It's perfect. Thanks."

Lucy smiled and blushed a little. "Thank you. Well, I'm going to... um... go to bed now. Yea, I need rest. If you need me I'm right beside your room. The kitchen is downstairs if you get hungry," Lucy told me then closed the door. I heard footsteps fading beyond the door, so I assumed she left.

The room was a sky blue color. On the right side of the door was a window with white curtains. Opposite side of the window was a door that was closed, so I only assumed it was the closet. The bed was facing a wall mounted tv that was beside the door to the right. The bed was white with blue edges along the blanket and pillows. I inhaled and took a closer look around the room. The room had sky blue carpets and was extremely clean. Almost as though no one ever been in here. I opened the door that I assumed was the closet and I was correct. It was a walk in closet. The walls were white instead of blue, however, and in place of carpet there was wood. I closed the closet door back, and went to go sit down on the bed. Suddenly, I felt sleepy, so I decided to take a nap.

(2 and a half hours past and it is night time now.)

"Ahhh! No!! Don't do it!!!" I quickly sat up and to my surprise, Natsu caught me and pulled me into his chest. He was sitting on the edge of the bed. His body felt warm as he hugged me so tightly. It was then that I realized he was shirtless.

I put my hands up, pushing him away from me. He looked confused at first but then nodded at me as if he understood why I pushed him away. I quickly looked around my room and noticed that my door was wide open. Natsu must've rushed in here when he heard me scream, I thought to myself.

I turned to look back at Natsu and whispered, "Sorry if I woke you up."

He looked serious at what I said and whispered back, "It's okay, but what did you dream about that frightened you."

"It was just," I whispered looking down at my hands, "that note. I can't stop thinking about it."

Natsu grabbed my wrist and pulled me into another hug. Again, I felt his warmth. Again, I questioned who he was exactly. Again, I questioned if I could trust him. He may have been a pervy jerk socially, but in the inside I could tell he wasn't a jerk. No, in fact, I could tell he was caring. So if we were to remain enemies, it may seem futile or maybe even pointless, but at least I knew there was a sweet side of him.

After a moment, he stopped hugging me and whispered, "So should we be studying?"

I chuckled and whispered back, "I never would've guessed you were so interested in your studies."

He playfully gave me jazz hands and then whispered, "Ta-Da! No, I'm just kidding, but I figured you would want to since, you know, you're a nerd."

I playfully punched his arm, whispered "Whatever", and we had a good laugh together. Then he whispered, "Ready?"

I nodded my head, and whispered back, "Yea, but remind me why are we whispering, again?"

Natsu chuckled and whispered, "I don't know. Why are we whispering?"

I playfully punched his arm again and got out of bed. I stretched my arms up and slowly walked out of my room. We went downstairs to the kitchen first to get a snack. I got out the blender and made us both smoothies while Natsu sat at the table looking over his notebooks from school. When I came back out with our strawberry-vanilla smoothies, he had his head down resting on the notebooks. He looked peaceful, so I didn't bother him. He still didn't put his shirt back on, but that didn't bother me as much anymore. I put his smoothie in the fridge while he slept. Then I sat down beside him, studying for 30 minutes by myself.

(30 minutes has passed)

Natsu P.O.V.
Yawn. I sat up and saw Lucy silently studying. She looked relaxed, so I didn't bother her.

After a minute, she looked up at me curiously and asked, "What is it?"

I quickly realized I was staring at her, so I put my hands up, smiled, and replied, "It's nothing. Sorry, for staring."

She laughed at my expression and said, "Haha, it's okay. I made you a smoothie earlier, it's in the fridge. I just didn't want to wake you up, because you looked so peaceful."

"Thank you," I said then got up and walked over to the fridge in the kitchen. The fridge was silver and had two doors on it. I took a quick glance around the kitchen and noticed that alot of Lucy's cooking appliances are silver and look high-tech. I opened the fridge and took out my smoothie. It looked delicious and fresh. The strawberries looked bright red and the vanilla looked rich. I sat back down in the dining room and took a sip.

"Wow, this tastes amazing. How'd you learn to make this," I asked Lucy with admiration.

Lucy blushed a little and enthusiastically replied, "My mother worked at a dessert shop. She taught me how to make all kinds of desserts. Smoothies happened to be her specialty"

I took another sip and asked, "Where is she now?"

Lucy looked down and said, "I don't know. She... she... went missing."

"So you live with your dad now?"

"Not anymore. You see, this house is mine. My father doesn't know about it, because this is a house I brought last week so that I can run away today," Lucy said while tearing up a little.

Dying to change the subject, and to not see her cry, I asked, "What time is it?"

Lucy wiped her tears away and picked up her phone. The phone was an iPhone 5 and had a black case with pink butterflies around the edges of it. "Oh, wow. It's pretty late. It is 10:27p.m."

I finished my smoothie and said, "Guess I better get going than. I'll see you tomorrow, Luce."

"Luce?", Lucy asked me with curiosity in her voice.

"Yea, that's your new nickname," I replied with excitement.

"Okay, well see you around Natsu," Lucy said while grinning.

I got up, pushed my chair in, and took my cup to the sink. I cleaned the dish as a way to show appreciation and walked over to the front door. Lucy walked with me, so I decided to kiss her on the forehead.

"Goodnight, Luce."

"Goodnight, Natsu."

Then with that, the door slowly closed behind me as I walked down the steps and towards my house.
