It had been a few days since the breakfast, but Ender could not get his mind off of Aspen. He wasn't really sure why, but something about her had left a lasting impression on him.

He wasn't really usually attracted to someone so easily. He took his time getting to know someone and her reasoning for why she was interested. Aspen didn't seem interested in his fame or his money, however, which only made him feel more attracted to her.

Ender didn't know how she felt, but he certainly felt a little hopeful. Not only had he noticed that she seemed a little flustered around him, but he had purposefully asked her about her dating life, just to see where she stood. And Ender was certainly pleased with what her answer was.

"Penny for your thoughts?" Dansby's voice pulled Ender back into reality, as he plopped down on the couch beside him. "You've been sitting here all morning staring at the wall." Dansby and Ender had been roommates over the past season and Dansby was staying until after the wedding when he and Briella would move in together.

Ender shrugged it off, "Nothing important."

"Really, Ender? You never shut up and I haven't heard you say a word in at least the past hour. Don't tell me nothing's up." Dansby laughed.

Ender sighed, but laughed in reply, "Fine. Honestly, I'm thinking about Aspen."

Dansby did a double take at Ender, "Aspen? Like, Briella's friend Aspen?"

Ender nodded, "I don't know what it is, but I really can't get her off my mind."

A grin slowly appeared on Dansby's face, "Wow, I don't know why I didn't expect that at all. I completely support it though. You and Aspen could get married and we could all hang out together."

Ender blushed, a rare occurrence for him. "Woah there, mi amigo. I just met her a few days ago. I'd say marriage is a bit soon to think about."

Dansby winked, "I don't know, man. It didn't take me long at all to realize that Briella was the one."

Ender smiled at the thought. He wasn't Dansby, though, and Aspen wasn't Briella. Those two were literally perfect together. He didn't doubt that he and Aspen would make a good couple, he just didn't know how long it would take, or more importantly, if that's what Aspen wanted.

Aspen wandered through the aisles of the grocery store. She was doing her weekly grocery shopping, although her mind wasn't really into what she was doing.

Not paying attention to where she was pushing the cart, Aspen felt it jolt as she bumped into something, or as it turned out, someone.

"Ouch!" A familiar voice exclaimed and the owner of the face turned to face her.

Aspen's heart leapt and she instantly scolded herself for allowing herself to feel those kinds of emotions, "Ender?"

Ender's face lit up when he saw her, "Aspen! I didn't expect to see you here."

She didn't want to, but she couldn't help but feel attracted by his smile, and the way his eyes smiled too. Looking for a reason to avoid thinking about his looks, Aspen let her eyes trail down to his hands and saw him carrying a bag of potato chips and a box of Little Debbie cupcakes. "Really?" Aspen nodded towards his hand and laughed.
