After we talked about what we learned from the article, it was time for recess
" Mitch, why didn't you tell me sooner?" Jerome asked
" My voice in my head was telling me not to tell. It's like my dad's voice telling me not to do this or that."
I can hear too you know, right? The voice said. I ignored it, and continued to talk with Jerome

Well, since Mitch told me about this, I have to ask him this at least,
" Hey Mitch, you know you can stay with me, right?" I said
" R-really?"
" Ya, all you have to do is tell my mom and dad the story and probably take you in."
" Alright, how bout, - um - this Friday?" he asked
" Sure! I'm getting picked up on Friday anyways." I said, happily
" Alright, well, what do you want to do?" He asked
" We should..... play basketball?" I suggested
" Sure!"
