"Noona! Wake up"
"Noona!"
Ah Yi just lay on the bed and her eyes keep looking on the family photo above the table beside her bed. She doesn't care his brother's voice calling her name.
"Noona,wake up! You haven't eat anything today. Please take some"
Ki Joon sit beside her sister and keep begging her sister to eat. She barely eat for this whole month. She just drink some water and being forced to eat some.
"Noona! Don't keep being like this. I need you. I can't do anything without you..." suddenly his tears fall.
"...they are gone. Didn't you remember what mom have said to us on her last day? We have to keep living and live our life as usual. Please don't be like this I beg you."
Ah Yi's tears falls rapidly while still looking at the family photo. Her mind tangled. She don't know how to live this life without her parents. She don't know how to take care of Ki Joon. She can't think anything for her future and her brother. She sigh deeply.
"I'll leave this meal on this table. You will eat right?" Ki Joon put the food tray above the table slowly. He keep looking at his sister's pale face. No expression. Just like a dead body.
He slowly stand up from Ah Yi's bed and leave the room. He close the door silently and his tears burst out. He's crying silently and hold his mouth to avoid being hear by her sister. Ki Joon also can't accept this tragedy that happened on their family but he try to endure it for the sake of his sister.
2 WEEKS AGO
"Ki Joon ah, you have to do something about your sister. She keep locked herself in the room. She haven't eat or drink since that day. Her face is so pale. I forced her to eat but she get rid of the porridge I made and cry. Since you get discharged now, you can go back home and try to coax Ah Yi. Maybe it will work if you are the one who being with her..."
Aunty Jane keep giving advice to Ki Joon who just discharged from the hospital. It been 2 weeks after the accident.
Ki Joon was there when the accident happened. They want to pick up Ah Yi on the airport who just came back from Australia. The reason Ah Yi goes there is to settle her father's business at there. On the way to the airport, a car suddenly appear from nowhere and hit her father's car.
Their father dead on the accident. Ki Joon and his mother injured badly. Ki Joon injured his leg too much that needed his leg to be cut. After 2 days, her mother passed away. Ki Joon and Ah Yi got to be with their mother for her last breath. On that moment they can't stop crying and hug their mom very tight.
"I say this to you is for the sake of your sister. She can't be like that forever. She still have you and me. I can take a good care of you guys. Your mom is my best friend. She helped me too much that I can't even know the right thanks should I give to her. I will take care of you guys. Don't you worry. I'll help you."
Ki Joon keep reminding Aunty Jane's advice.
"Aunty Jane! Mom's best friend! The one who promise to take care of us! WHERE ARE YOU?" his feeling mix with mad and sad. Start from there, he don't even believe people's promise and never believe of others accept her sister.
2 days later
Ki Joon is getting ready to go to school. He pack his bag with school stuff and go downstairs. He wanted to go to the kitchen first to make breakfast for her sister before he leaving for school. Ki Joon is very shock when he see a girl in the kitchen making breakfast.
"Good morning!"
"Noona!" without any thought, Ki joon run to his sister and hug her so tight.
"Noonaaa..." He jokingly crying because he is so happy and in the same time can't believe that Ah Yi move from her bed.
"Eat" Ah Yi put a plate of french toast in front of Ki Joon who already sit at the counter table.
"Noona,..." Ki Joon call her sister name. He want Ah Yi to look at him before he continue his word.
"Thank you" He smile to her sister but Ah Yi just reply with a small smirk to respond to her brother and continue her dishes
'It's okay if you are not the sister that I know before. I just want you to wake up and move on. I promise to myself that I will bring your bright smile back'
