Classic Cappuccino

Raya was the owner of the amazing coffee shop named,'CLASSIC CAPPUCCINO '.It was a startup for her and mattered to her the most after the death of her husband Ayan,who was a civil engineer. Before the day of the opening ceremony a news of Ayan's car accident shattered Raya. When she went to identify the deadbody of her husband in the morgue, the people there handed her the Ayan's stuff. There was beautifully designed name plate on which was written, 'RAYA'S CLASSIC CAPPUCCINO ' and also a card where he congratulates Raya and asks her to always focus on her dreams and never let it go.Since then Raya only survived to make the most of her husband's dream coffee shop. The way Raya and Ayan met was actually very interesting. While in college, both of them went to the same coffee shop with their friends ,they were unknown to each other till then. They ordered for the same coffee ,the classic cappuccino , but with different amount of ingredients. The waiter being confused dropped the wrong coffee at the wrong place . While complaining about their coffee bothmet each other. This was how their love story had begun.
After Ayan's death everything continued to be the same,until one day a guy named Vikram came to their coffee shop. Vikram Roy, who was a brain surgeon had just joined a new hospital which was near the coffee shop. Since it was7:30 p.m. ,the coffee shop was about to close down that day. The last order was already taken and served. Dr . Roy entered the coffee shop and asked the receptionist ,'Is there any table empty? ' But the receptionist told him that they were just waiting for the last customers to go and will wrap up soon. Vikram insisted for just a cup of coffee. But principles cannot be changed. Hence the receptionist kept on asking Vikram to go back. On hearing an argument, Raya walked down to the reception to find out what was happening. That was the first time when Raya and Vikram met each other. The receptionist explained to Raya about what was happening. Raya asked the receptionist to wrap up for the day. Vikram looked a bit annoyed . Now it is time to reveal a fact about the coffee shop which was that Raya had constructed the coffee shop just at the ground floor of her own house. Being the owner of the coffee shop she had to follow some principles, but being a human it was her duty to serve other in need . Hence she invited Vikram to her house for a cup of coffee. Vikram couldn't say no to a beautiful woman like her and after a moment of hesitation he agreed to do so. Raya asked his preferences for the coffee. Strangely Vikram asked for a classic cappuccino and more than that with the same amount of ingredients which Ayan preffered too. Raya asked if he would go for something else other than that coffee because she had not made it since the last three years after Ayan's death. Since Vikram insisted on having that Raya had to make it. The same strong smell and the old taste which never faded from her mind. After taking the first sip,Vikram thanked Raya and said,'Thank you so much. You just don't know how badly I needed this &the coffee just perfect . Thank God I came late otherwise I would have missed such a thing . While talking to Raya, Vikram discovered about her past life and Ayan as well . He was quiet . After having the coffee Vikram left. The next day he again came in late and Raya had to make the same thing for him again. This continued for a couple of days until one Raya directly asked Vikram, 'Why don't you come to the coffee shop on time? ' Vikram jokingly said,'So that I don't have to pay the bill.'This line coming from a rich surgeon was not acceptable. Vikram kept the coffee on the table and said seriously, 'I'll not be here for two days because I'll be travelling for a surgery. I'll surely come to your coffee house after coming back. ' This was not an answer to Raya's question. Raya kept on waiting eagerly those two days. After the eager waiting, the day arrived for Raya had been preparing since before. She was preparing herself for an answer to her question. At 6:30p.m. , Vikram came to the cafe and on the door it was written,' CLOSE' On seeing that Vikram just turned to return. A voice just asked from behind, 'Won'tyou pay the price today also'. It was Raya. Vikram went inside and asked why was the cafe closed. Raya said that all the other staff went for a worker's wedding. On being why Raya didn't go ,she said without thinking that she was waiting for Vikram to come. Raya went inside the cafe kitchen and brought coffee for Vikram. But this time situation was a bit different because this was the first time when Raya brought two cups of coffee. Both were classic cappuccinos. After having a sip , Raya felt something choking when Vikram completed his sentence. Vikram had said,'Ayan Banerjee was the person who had a car accident three-years back with my car on the highway.' He tried to convince Raya saying that the accelerator was out of control and by chance his driver couldn't control the tradegy. Even Vikram was injured in that accident. He said that he didn't know anything about who Raya was before meeting her and hearing about the death of her husband. He continued, 'Though I can't change things now ,but literally I have started falling for you.'Vikram proposed to Raya saying that, 'Would you mind making the classic cappuccino for both of us lifelong?'Raya kept quiet for a moment and then suddenly a drop of tear rolled down from her eye and fell into her cup. The taste of her 'classic cappuccino ' had changed.
