My story starts in Halifax....I was born on the 10 of march. My mom was named Alice and my father John harakroff. My father hailed from Germany and my mother from Saskatchewan. Five years later I started primary...and by this time I knew only one person. His name was Ethan and he would later grow up to be one of my squad mates. The years flew by and by seventh grade I had not only grown in knowledge....but in height as well. And I looked pretty ravishing if I do say so myself. But this came with a price....barely any privacy. There was always at least 2 girls following me from a distance they thought would make them unnoticeable. But from some strange reason...even if they were out of my field of vision...I could still tell they were there. During my 14 birthday my father went off to fight with the UNSC ODST program (orbital drop shock team) within the next 5 months.....we received a note that he would be returning home. I was shocked and extremely happy at the same time. Two weeks later we waited at the space port after a two hour drive to get there. Soon a man walked up to us....he was from the UNSC. I could tell from the patch on his arm, so I thought he was heading home to. Well you can only guess how shocked I was when he walked up to us and said "good day mam, I hope I'm not interrupting...but who are you waiting for?" He asked...now this puzzled me. "Why was he asking us who we were waiting for?" I thought....my mom replied in a careful tone like she always does when she talks to strangers. She was one of those people who are really carful not to insult anyone. "We are waiting for my husband, John harakroff" the officer reached into his pocket upon the mention of his name "Then this note is for you" and with out another word he turned on his heel and disappeared into the crowd. My mom then looked puzzled at the note in her hands. On it was the seal of the UNSC (United Nations Space Command) she opened it with great care trying not to rip the fragile envelope. After she opened it she looked down the page and let out a gasp...she then sat down and started crying. I looked at the note and saw what she saw. As if the letters were in bold they were the thing that caught my eye....this is what it read

It is with a heavy heart that we say to you Alice Harakroff...that your husband John....has died in the line of duty
