*****FLASHBACK*****

Grandpa called everyone, I mean us three and our families.

"You kids are really naughty" he said.

"Thanks" I said.

"You think it's a complement? You fool"

I backed. I was actually going to hug him. I never saw him like this.

"Listen to me without interruption. If you have any doubts you can ask after I say everything. Ok?"

We all nodded in silence.

"It's been one year since you graduated and got your MBA. You are doing nothing but spending the money I earned from scratch. This includes you too Arjun. Your dad and I worked very hard. He worked very hard even before collaboration of our companies. Coming to the matter at hand, we earned a lot with hard work but you people are doing nothing but slacking off"

Arjun is giving him I-don't-know-anything-what-you-are-talking-about stare.

"Sahil is spending on racing, Arjun on video games but you...You are spending on girls?"

Oh no! Busted. I thought he didn't mind.

"You three has to work in the office along with the new trainees and prove you are worthy of it. Or else everything goes to charity. What do you say?"

"You didn't give any choice." I said. It sounded more like a Statement even to my ears but it's supposed to be a question. Damn! Old man. He knows how to control.

"You are not going to get anything except for your salary. Ok?"

"Can we have something we want?"

"Go ahead" dad said.

"Since we don't know anything we want an apartment and you know, some money to start with."

"So you are in for the challenge?"

"Yes. Old man"

"So you will sign the contract now?"

"Ok"

"Wait. "Sahil said.

"What is it Sahil?"his mom asked.

"We want to make sure you arranged everything. So we will sign after we confirm everything."

He is cool. You are of course my friend. I know.

"Ok" they said.

We are about to leave,

"You hot bloods! Here are your tickets and some pay will be given in advance but deducted from your salary later ."

"Yes grandpa"

"And no girls. If I find you getting involved with a girl I will transfer your portion to someone I want. By the time you complete I will find a decent bride for you"

"Dad, I will decide who to marry. So don't try to overwork"

"I have persons who inform me time to time. In and out of office. So you can't do pretty much anything about the rules. If you violate, you will have to pay a huge compensation. In your case my dear Rohan, you have to marry whomever I choose or else you will get very less, I mean only the job you do now but for your whole life time. You would become a permanent employee. You will be traveling by train and go and visit your sisters first. It's Rakhi on that day and you can travel from there in train "

Whatever.

We heard them shout in unison "Good luck boys"

****END OF FLASHBACK****

We are signing the contract and I heard a rumble in my stomach for which my grandpa chuckled

"So, you are taking your job seriously?"

We finished signing and I answered before leaving

"Thanks to someone I didn't eat my breakfast for the first time"

"There's a first for everything and" he paused. Maybe he is trying to be cool and give a movie effect but it actually is creepy. Did I mention my grandfather has crazy fantasies and ideas and I'm damn sure it must be one of his crazy ideas that made him do this contract thing. I got out of my thoughts when he continued after a dramatic but so so creepy pause "employees, they don't take private elevator"

"What the...."Sahil stopped me before I say something disastrous.

"Yes. Thank you Mr.chairman. we will from the next time."

He said while practically dragging me out while I saw my grandpa chuckling and my mom and aunt holding their tears back. I know why. Because we didn't eat our breakfast.
