In a land not far away, like at all,  lived a 17 year old boy whose name was........Romeo. Romeo lived with his father and his mother in a small house that sat on top of a grassy hill in a neighborhood. One sunny morning, Romeo wakes up slowly yawning as he awakens from his slumber. He looks around as if he were confused and turns to see what time it was. He finally finds the clock sitting right there on his dresser and stares at it for second, then begins to drift back into sleep mode. I do that sometimes.

"Honey! I'm gonna be out for a bit, so I made you lunch. I won't be long!" the mom informs her lazy son as he continues to marinate in his bed.

Romeo springs out of his bed like a jackinabox and shoots a look back at his clock. He jumps out and opens his curtains to find the sun glaring right above him.

"It's lunch already?!" he asks in shock throwing open his closet to find something to wear.

He grabs a black shirt with a red shirt pocket and rips off his tank top and sweatpants. He grabs a black pair of pants and struggles to put them on. A lot of black this guy is wearing. Rushing to the bathroom he quickly throws on his shirt, then grabs for his comb and starts combing his soft brown hair. So thick and luscious, so dreamy.

"Oh no! Cologne, I need some cologne!" He rushes out the bathroom with his shirt halfway on and enters his parents room to find his dad at his computer doing adult things. How embarrassing, at least finish putting on your pants!

"Dad! Can I have some cologne?" he asks putting his arm through a sleeve hole.

"Cologne? For what?" The dad asks with his eyes glued to the screen.

"Uh..." Romeo hesitates for a moment, he doesn't want his dad to know the real reason he needs the cologne. Which is stupid cause it's just a silly little date, what is there to hide.

"I want to smell good when I go to the library. You know, make a good impression on the librarian.....get some free books....that stuff."

The dad laughs at this and turns around in his chair to see his son. I'd laugh at pathetic excuse for an excuse as well. He takes his glasses off and gives his son a small little grin.

"Women still bending backwards for ya I see." he laughs again and gets out of his chair.

Romeo returns the laugh and scratches the back of his head in embarrassment. Even though it was clear from the moment he was born that women of all ages were from reason really attracted to his adorableness, cuteness, handsomeness, you get the idea...

"Yep, girls still falling for me." He has it way too easy.

"And to think...your only 17, yet you seem to attract so many." Well this has been happening his entire life so there really shouldn't be any surprise.

"Always have since I was kid, dad." See! The father laughs again and hands him some cologne, when he should just buy him some.

"Here, take your cologne, get me one of those car magazines while you're there."

Romeo grabs the cologne, applies it, and sprints downstairs heading out the door. Not questioning why his dad wanted a car magazine of all things. Who still reads those?

Romeo, runs out the house and heads where he expects to see the school bus waiting for him like an eager dog. Once he's outside he realizes that the bus was not at it'sa usual hangout spot. Romeo begins to panic.

"Oh no! Don't tell me I missed the bus! No!" Boy holds his head with sorrow as if he had a headache. He looks down the street as oncoming cars speed by him in haste. The road stretches far off into the distance and touches the building from beyond, even though they weren't that far away.

"I gotta math test today! How am I supposed to get to school?!"

He glances at his driveway where his mom's car sat, broken. The wheels have been stripped from the body, the hood bent over backwards, that car was going nowhere. What kind of accident they get in to have the car in that condition............and survive!?

Romeo looks back down the road and suddenly his feeling of sorrow turned into determination. He looks at his watch and turns back to glares down at the road that laid before him. He was gonna walk that road. And he was do it like a boss!

"Okay, I can do this. I just have to speed walk that's all. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out his phone. He pulls up a local map to see how long it would take to get to school. I immediately lost all respect for this man.

"Okay, 15 miles...that's not too bad I guess. Should only take me 1 hour or so. I'll be able to make it before 4th period." Romeo returns the phone to it's natural habitat and begins walking down the sidewalk. What he didn't know, was that this descion would change his life forever.
