"Evie, It's The Boy, EVIE IT'S THE BOY!!!!" Evie Just stood there stiff as a board, "Evie, are you ok?" something was defintely not ok... "E...V....I...E....." I began to spell out, "A-R-E Y-O-U O-K-A-Y? I-M G-E-T-T-I-N-G W-O-R-R..." Christopher came dashing between us trying to catch Evie, I didn't even notice she dropped dead like a fly, until now atleast, I caught her, "I got this." I said to Christopher. He smiled and started talking, "I know you Ms.Willams, and in your arms is..." "Ms.Willams, My sister." "Oh, sorry for the mistake." He takes a bow "How Do You Do." He says in a cheesy voice. "Great, now, can you help me get this lump of bread of a sister in the wagon?" "Sure, bed or seat?" "In the bed of the wagon please!" He replies again in the cheesiest tone I have ever heard "As you wish." I speak up, "Before we start, could you drop all the polite-ness, and let's get a move on?" the merchant hands us the supplies, and we ride off.
It starts to get to nightfall, "Christopher, I think we should stop, have a rest -Yawn- anyways, Evie woke up and fell back asleep, she was up all night in the cellar, she did need some sleep." Christopher replies, "Um, when were you in a cellar? You can call me Chris, and yes, we should get some rest." I shake from the question he asked of me,"Um, long story, (I hesitate) Chris?(He smiles)" "Off to bed we go then" I walk over to the wagon and I look there's only one blanket, and Evie's using the other one, "Oh no, That doesn't mean..." I thought to myself, Chris walks over,"That doesn't mean what?" "Um, did I say that out loud?" "Yea." I straighten myself to look serious, "The problem is there's only one blanket...." he laughs "No worries, we can sleep together, nothing funny going on I promise you, I will stay on one side and you stay on the other, I have to warn you I move a bit when I'm sleeping." "That's ok, as long as you promise, I will take your words in, if you don't keep your promise, you will stay cold tonight, Got it Chris?" "Got it, clear as a bell." "Please don't say bell." "Ok, sorry, Why?" "Long story." "Oh, I get it, did you have a hard time with your mother? And I know you lied to my father about her being sick, and the last time I saw you she dragged you out of the ballroom, right in the middle of our waltz?" He got up got into a ready to waltz position,"Will you care to take a step out and dance with me?" "Of course! Um, I didn't..." "Hush, you'll wake Evie up." 1..2..3..1..2..3..was all I could think about, until "Can you stop saying "long story" and start telling me the truth?" "If you want to know it here it goes" I told him everything, how our evil mother died and how our real mother still lives, and how bad the evil mother treated Evie and I. His face was in utter shock. "I can never get what your going thorugh, I'm sorry on how your evil mother treated you, and now that she's gone, you probably feel free, I can get the free part." I blushed and said "You are very nice to say those things to me, you are like my prince in shining armor." before I could tell him how I really felt, He Kissed me gently, and like he meant it, stops, looks me straight in the eyes, and his eyes changed to hazel, "As long as I'm here, I will never let anybody do that to you ever again." he smiles, and lifts me and carries to where we were laying down before, "Thanks for lifting me, I could have done it myself.." I said so dearly, I grabbed the bible, Chris took fond of the Bible, He said "Shall we keep it or burn it?" "Burn, most defintely." He grabs it and throws it into the fire, watching it burn reminded me of the torture, and burning it made me feel like I was free again, I began to cry, Chris took me into his arms, and he stroked my back until I fell asleep.
