Revengetale part one

The beginning to an end.

You've discovered a ruined desolate town near the foot of a mountain. Feeling adventurous you decide to explore this ancient town. It seems though it's mostly faded there seem to be blast marks on some of the rubble of some of the buildings. From what you can see there must have been a massive war here. As you head to the northern section of the city you start to notice the building start to become more whole.
The area seemed to once be a residential area of the  richer side of town. At the end of the street, you see a massive destroyed gate that appears to have been thrown off the hinges. Farther down You notice an intact vila. You look to see for a nameplate but you can only see some of it. It appears to be in an archaic language.
Past the gate, you start to find dead bushes line the path to a door in the distance. Once you arrive at the door you stare at it. It's is decorated with pictures of a skull. After a moment of courage- building, you try and open the door before you.
With a bit of force, you open the door. Inside the building, it looks decorated as you'd expect a rich guy's villa. After a bit of exploring you find yourself in the villa' s library.
After exploring most the selves you notice they're almost all in a different language from your own except a few volumes on the last bookshelf.
You pick the volumes out and sit down, cracking open the first one.
