Toms first night was great, he had a comfortable bed, delicious food in his stomach and he did not have 5 people sleeping in beds next to him. When he woke in the morning he could smell Megan cooking something that would be good (at least better than what he had eaten at the adoption centre). He walked downstairs to the kitchen and saw that everyone was up and dressed. He felt a little bit embarrassed because he was the only one wearing pyjama's. Luna got up from the dining chair that she was sitting on and hugged Tom, he did not know what she was doing and he asked her to get off him. The Smiths thought that it was sad that he had never been hugged so they had a hug fight with him (he lost). Toms first day went by very fast and then he realised that it had been a weekend. Tomorrow he would have to go to school. He had only ever been to a state school and wondered if the Smith family would let him go to a different school. On Monday morning he was woken up early by everyone getting up and getting ready to go to school. The first thing that he did when he got up was ask the smiths which school he was going to, they said that it was a surprise and he did not have much experience with people saying that. His first day of school was very simple, he was going to a new school but he did the normal subjects such as Maths, English and Science. When he got back to the Smiths house (which he now thought it was partly his house) he started to do his homework. He had to research and find his family tree and find out if he knows any of the people that he is related to. He searched on the internet, his family did not come up on there and his family didn't either. He decided to ask Megan. Megan replied and told him that their family was a little different. She gathered the family together because she said that they had a secret to tell him. He had no idea what it was. But when he found out he could not believe it.
