Madison's POV

Mark turned around quickly to reveal Hunter behind him and Hunter saw me with my eyes watery.
"What's wrong?" Hunter asked laughing while mumbling something to Mark. Hunter laughed but Mark didn't seem to think it was funny.
"Hunter just go." He said looking down. I tried walking but as Hunter left Mark said,
"Madi wait!" Said Mark which caused people to stare.
"What do you want Mark?!"
"I want to talk to you...just please come to the courtyard with me." He started walking off as if he knew I would follow, and he was right I'm dumb and miss him so I chose to follow him.
"Madison...I know we haven't talked in months but I still care what's wrong?"
"Nothing."
"Come on I know nothing's going on cause you wouldn't cry for nothing."
"I just had a flashback of him..." Mark hugged me just like that day in my flashback which caused me to let out a sad laugh.
"What?"
"Nothing it's just. You know what never mind..."
"Okay...but anyways I'm sorry for not talking to you anymore. It's just--"
"You became friends with Hunter and left me..."
"No that's not what happened"
"Then what did happen Mark?!"
"Hunter he...I can't tell you..."
"Bye Mark." I got up as the bell rang. So I walked to my next class which was Science"
While I was in Science I just looked at my notes and dozed off.
"Hey you alright?" said Kylie which is one of my best friends. "You look sad and irritated at the same time"
"Yeah just had stuff happened during lunch" I said.
"Honestly as much as I love food I hate lunch all the drama happens there..."
"Tell me about it" I said rolling my eyes at the thought of Mark.
The rest of the school day went on as usually which means it was boring but at least the school year was almost over.
Before I left me, Emily, Nicole, and Kylie met up at the park that's in front of our school that we walk to everyday.
Then Nicole said, "I CANT BELIEVE THE YEAR IS ABOUT TO END"
"I KNOW RIGHT!" Said both Kylie and Emily
"Yeah...I'm gonna miss you guys" I said looking at my shoes.
"Yeah same.." said Kylie.
"WAIT WHAT?!" Yelled both Emily and Nicole
"I don't know about Kylie but I'm spending the summer in L.A."
"Oh I'm going to be in North Carolina visiting family."
"Oh well I guess it's going to be just me and you Em," Nicole said hugging Emily.
"WE CAN HAVE DISNEY MARATHONS!" Shouted Emily while jumping.
"YEAH. HIGH FIVE"
"Okay well I gotta go see you guys later" I said in between laughs.

Once I got home I did my homework and just sat on my bed scrolling through Instagram. Then I heard my mom call me down to the living room.
"Madison!"
"Yeah yeah I'm going"
"Okay so I need to talk to you about something...it's about your dad."
"Wait is he okay?!"
"Don't worry Madi he is it's just his job here isn't making enough money so he got a new one..."
"We're moving aren't we.....?"
"Yes a--"
"But I've lived in Texas all my life!"
"I know but we can't stay."
"When are we leaving and where are we moving to?"
"In the summer. We are going to California because of the job and my sister lives there. We were planning to just visit LA for the summer but our plans changed.."
"SO I GET TO SEE AUTUMN AND ALEX?!"
"Yes but at least start packing some things and tomorrow since it's the weekend you can help me."
I ran back up to my room and texted Autumn.

Autumn 🍁- NO WAY! REALLY? I HAVENT SEEN YOU IN YEARS
Madison ☀️- IKR! Anyways I gotta start packing see you in 2 weeks!

I put my phone down and became happy because I get to see Autumn but then realized I have to leave Emily, Kylie, and Nicole...How am I going to tell them? Then I lost my train of though when I heard someone knock on the door.
"ILL GET IT!"
I walked over to the door to see Nicole, Emily and Kylie...
"Hey!" They all said
"Hey...I have to tell you guys something but let's go up stairs."
We walked up stairs but there was silence.
"So...What were you going to tell us?" Asked Nicole
"IS IT A GUY?!" Asked Kylie jokingly, "Just kidding we all know you aren't interested in dating right now."
"Anyways..." said Emily
"I thought I would have more time but...my dad got a new job and I have to move...."
"What but you haven't finished high school and you can't leave us!" Said Nicole.
"Yeah but we're leaving right after the last day of this school year."
For the rest of the time we all cried together then Kylie made us laugh and cheered us all up then Emily put on a movie.
I really am going to miss them all...
