Gone

The Day

The end of the school day was near. In class 9A the students where watching a movie while their teacher spoke to a student who was upset at something that recently happened. Christa Matthews was that student and her friend Tahlia Walters was with her. After ten minutes while the girls where returning to class they saw their other friend Mackenzie leaving with her bag. Little did they know that was the last time they would see her.

The next few days Christa and Tahlia didn't think that anything was wrong. Just some family issues. Though after a month they began to think something bad might have happened to her. So the girls decided to ask around the class to see if anyone had heard anything about her. No one knew anything except that she hasn't been at school for a month. "I hope she comes back next week and this is all just a misunderstanding." Christa thought anxiously.

Later the next week two police officers came to question the class about Mackenzie. Though the questions seemed a little...off.
"Who's close to Mackenzie?"
"What's your name?"
"What's your relationship with Mackenzie?"
The only question that scared the girls was.
"When and where did you last see Mackenzie?"
Tahlia decided to tell the police officers in private what she knew. After she explained they left leaving Tahlia confused and more worried then ever.
