Nightmares occur plenty of times in life, but through creativity, they are a choice. In a recent, self-made painting, of a black hue, the neutral background overshadows the dark masses of objects on the clear, glass table. From the table, a busty model is posing with her haunches, comfortably sitting. In the shade of black and grey, she has her warm hands covering her unavoidable nipples. The table supports her curvaceous body while her back is completely relaxing, parallel to a black ghostly monitor of herself. She has seductive, brown eyes, which makes the plaster ceiling jealous of the redbrick walls she normally reaches to clean. As if though her partner is in the same room, she is dramatically widening her naked legs in the air. Above her legs is a ravenous "Black Widow" spider hanging from a gossamer string, which is attached to an expensive, crystal chandelier.
The annoying sirens to an ambulance occurs at the sight of oscillating red and blue lights. The lights are reflecting off the degrading painting. Just to speed past every intersection, the ambulance makes the owner of the house desire it. More than the expensive painting, the ambulance represents the irresistible power of sin. For generations, the antique painting has been passed down in the family, making it as valuable as anything else in the house. Sadly, only the owner of the house knows that there are sinister doctors in the ambulance, traveling to a hospital.
Refraining from carnal desires is what Madison thinks about. Sometimes, she reminds herself that everyone in the world is not sexually cruel and vice-versa. Just sixteen-years-old, and she wants to lose her virginity to a boy of the same age. They share the same birthday, June the 16th. The demoralizing fact that the mother of Carlos is (Luan Strider), his English teacher at Wayward High School is just as strict as Madison's father (Ben Galilee) being the school principal. The embarrassment does not let them feel alone when attending students spread negative rumors.
In Wayward High School, Madison ditches her Math class to meet up with Carlos outside. As she waits for Carlos to arrive at 9:28 A.M., she stuffs her pink jacket of jean material, in her grey backpack. A chubby Carlos eagerly runs out of the front doors of the school, thus Madison gets terrified by the security chasing after him. The exact moment he yells, "Run," Madison runs along with Carlos. Three members of security are yelling as they illegally abandon the school premises without permission.
"We're in so much trouble!"
"I can't take that place. When was the last time I saw a movie with a friend? I hate school. I hate family My mother is going to kill me," Carlos says.
"At least your mom is an English teacher. My dad is the principal. Hey, I know a place to go."
Carlos follows Madison across the street to a huge park empty of people. The yellow monkey-bars are slightly discolored from years of play, the swing set lacks durable, silver chains, and the wet sandbox has red ants crawling around. The scintillating sun causes Madison and Carlos to squint their eyes, and they are shocked that the flying creatures are not too blind to hit a tree or an airplane. Maybe, if they never return to school again, they can watch the birds dodge fireworks like the mosquitoes dodge trees.
Worried about his surroundings, Carlos says, "We need to keep walking. The cops will know we stopped here."
While Carlos masticates on a chocolate cookie from his black backpack, Madison gets scared, saying, "I can't afford to be away from you."
"That's why we must be forever if the law won't let us be. I parked my car North of this park. We're going to follow up on our mission. I'm sick of worrying. ... I'm sick of knowing that I had to fear until I used to be numb, but now I'm mad. I'm surprised that nobody shot or stabbed me in that school. After we kill the queen of England, we're going to make the students feel our abject pain."
