I got transported to a very grassy area as soon as I stepped into the rectangular light thingy.

I was surrounded by greenery and trees. Where the fuck was I? The moon goddess was useless.

And I was no longer in my initial white dress. I was wearing a pair of casual skinny jeans and a white tee-shirt.

I took a few steps, and froze as I heard howls in my direction.

Wolf howls.

Wolf territory.

Fuck.

I now knew what Category I was in.

Okay so I just have to make the Alpha fall for me. No biggie. Wait, am I even his mate? Lord dear lord.

So am I like a rogue now? That is how it always happens. Female rogue who turns out to be the Alpha's mate.

But I am not even a werewolf.

I was half expecting a Beta to jump on me in his wolf form, since he always shows up and drags the girl to the Alpha. Except a human dude showed up. Or atleast that's what he wanted me to think. Shirtless might I add. Definitely not checking his 6 pack out. Nope, nada.

For some reason I just knew it was the Beta. Didn't look like an Alpha. Otherwise I would have felt power radiating off him. Right? Well my intuition told me it was Beta, so Beta it is.

He was walking towards me, looking really angry. Duh.

I guess they have a different way of dealing with humans. This is new to me. It's supposed to be a female rogue who gets dragged to the dungeons. Not a human female. The start of this story is so wrong. I can't even follow a script in this case!

"What brings you here? Don't you know these lands are forbidden?" Obviously I know, I know everything. More than you can even imagine asshat.

But obviously he doesn't know, I'm just a gullible human according to him. This is the only advantage I have at this moment.

"Easy there Mufasa." He raised his eyebrow in response.

"It's Colton for you." Ofcourse it is.

"Lion King reference anyone?" I got a raised eyebrow in response. "Forget it."

"Who sent you here? What do you know?" I tried to recall any Wattpad story where such a conversation takes place, but I couldn't recall any.

"I just asked you a question!" He snapped.

"Liar. You asked two. And those questions aren't even valid. To be or not to be. That is the question." It's true. It's the most valid question of them all.

"Stop testing my patience you filthy human!" Ooh, he just gave himself away.

Damn, I forgot to act shocked.

He'll suspect something. I am a human void of any knowledge about werewolves for all he knows.

So I placed my hand over my mouth to show my shock.

"What do you mean! Why are you saying that as if you're not human?" I asked placing my hand on my heart, trying so hard to control my laughter.

"I-uh." He looked baffled. "You don't get to ask the questions!" He said regaining composure.

"Are you an alien?" Damn, I am enjoying this way too much.

"What the fuck. No!"

"A vampire perhaps?"

"You know about the existence of vampires?" He asked looking at me suspiciously. Oh shit, I should really watch my mouth.

"Hahahahahahhahah." I fake laughed holding my stomach. "They don't exist silly!" I was laughing for real this time. Why am I like this?

"I know. I was just playing along to your stupidity. Haha." He said scratching his neck, looking as if he wanted to be anywhere but here in my presence.

"You seem dumb and harmless so I guess I'll let you go." He said giving me a serious look. "Just go South from here. Fucking leave." He said as he motioned for me to leave. Wow, I am my own life saver.

"It was nice knowing you Colton!" I smiled and turned around to walk in the opposite direction.

Hold on.

Why is he letting me go. This isn't how the drill goes. I need to be sent to the Alpha! This story can't end before it even begins!

I turned around and yelled, "Colton!"

"NO."

Ouch. Rude much. He didn't even turn around and kept walking. I walked after him. He was my only key to the Alpha.

"Buddy. Pal. Wait up!" I jogged towards him. He groaned and stopped in his tracks.

"Woman, please don't tell me you have a death wish. You have no idea how I usually treat trespassers who aren't hu-" He stopped. For I am not supposed to know that he was about to say humans. No clue.

"Huge legends like me?" I helped him.

"Yep!" He responded like a child, causing me to chuckle. "I mean no! UGH, you're a pain in the ass. Get lost. Head South where you came from."

He wants me gone so desperately. How do I get him to take me to the Alpha without giving myself away as the knower of all secrets to this world. Why can't I give myself away anyways? What if I just reveal everything.

I can imagine that going well. Like: Yo, fellow fictional character, I need to meet your Alpha, who is also a fictional character, and make him fall for me otherwise your world, which happens fo be fictional as well, would collapse.

Yeah no. That won't go well. So I did the next best thing.

"I feel so weak." I mumbled. And then I fake fainted. Yep, just fell to the ground. It definitely hurt.

"Are you kidding me!" Came Colton's voice. "I really did not sign up for this. I'm the fucking Beta, not a fucking ambulance." I was right! He is the Beta!

"How am I even supposed to deal with this!" He got on his knees infront of me and grabbed my arm to check my pulse.

"Couldn't she just have fucking died."

Wow. Okay then.

He went silent for a few minutes. Probably mind linking the Alpha. Duh. Not that I knew ofcourse.

"To the pack doctor it is then." He mumbled, as he picked me up as if I was a sack of flour and placed me on his shoulder. "Worst day of my life." He muttered as he took me towards what I'm assuming is the 'pack house.'

Time to meet the Alpha and display my undeniable skills.
