Rain was slamming into the cold, hard cement. The city streets of Persance were empty. Everyone else was doing their best to avoid this stormy onslaught. It seems that only I, Eric Price, was the only person brave or stupid enough, to brace the tempest. Yet it was more out of necessity that I ran. I ran, and ran. Until I reached my destination. The water, drenching me in its merciless chill, made for an almost fitting end to a most frustrating day.
I opened a wine red door of some obscure building. The building itself looked stitched together as though it had been patched up by some large needle. I entered the door and it lead me into a long, narrow corridor. Some dark,slender, silhoutted figure sat cross-legged at the end of the corridor and seemed to be waiting for my arrival...
