24. His Ex

Taehyung walked home, feeling angry, but proud of himself at the same time. There was still a little part of him that felt bad though. Jimin was- or- used to be one of his best friends. But it's Jimin's fault that he ruined it by telling Jungkook that he loved him. In Taehyung's mind, Jimin deserved what he got.

Taehyung didn't know where he was going to go now. In the earlier months of Jungkook's pregnancy, he decided it would be a good idea to move in with Jungkook to help him. He didn't have anywhere to go that Jungkook or Jimin wouldn't be.

But then he got an idea. It may not be the best idea, but it was someone he could stay with he was sure. His ex, Baekhyun. Taehyung broke up with him about a year ago. They ended on okay terms, well, for Taehyung. Taehyung dipped when Baekhyun said that he loved him. It was supposed to be a small relationship to make Jungkook jealous, but he wasn't, so Taehyung mostly just used Baekhyun to feel loved. He didn't think it would actually be genuine love. Taehyung wasn't really sad about the break up, but Baekhyun said he would always love Taehyung and never forget him. He tried to fight to keep them together, but Taehyung was done with him. He knew that Baekhyun would let him stay at his apartment. He might have to make up a story that he wanted to get back together or something. He probably is going to have to cry to make Baekhyun believe him.

Taehyung  dropped the liquid into his eyes. It make his eyes sting and turn a bit red. Tears started to well up and he knocked on the door.

"Hi!-Uh!-Taehyung? What are you doing here?" He asked.

"B-Baekhyun.... I n-never s-should have l-left you.... I was so stupid.... I-I'm sorry.." Taehyung fake-stuttered as he also fake cried.

"Taehyung- I- why don't you come in?" Baekhyun said comfortingly as he put an arm around Taehyung and led him inside of the apartment.

"Th-Thank you.." Taehyung said, trying to hide the smirk on his face by covering his face with his hands.

They both sat down on Baekhyun's couch to discuss everything.

"What- happened- to make you- um....yeah...." Baekhyun asked awkwardly.

"It took me a r-really long time t-to get over you," Taehyung started. Even this sentence was a lie.

"a-and when I finally was ready for another r-relationship, I found someone, but he.... was a-awful." Taehyung said, fakingly looking down at his hands in sadness.

"D-did he hurt you?" Baekhyun asked.

Taehyung thought for a little bit and he realized that he did have a bruise from when Hoseok through a ball at him and hit his arm.

"J-just a l-little, but m-most of it was n-name calling and general m-meanness." Taehyung lied again. He lifted up his sweater to show the blueish brown bruise on his upper arm.

"Oh god. Taehyung. Have you told anyone about this?"  Baekhyun said, stunned.

Taehyung shook his head and Baekhyun looked concerned.

"Well you can stay with me for a while okay?" He offered. Taehyung nodded and bowed a bit in thanks.
