"Forgiveness is giving up the hope that the past could have been any different." -Oprah
---“Mom! Mom! Can I go outside? Please?” The young six year old girl asked her mother, practically on her knees in front of her to let her outside just once. “No. You are not allowed outside.” The mother said in a calm voice “But why?” The little girl cried “I want to go outside and play!” Her light blue and golden eyes filled with tears as small pieces of metal began to circle around her. “Now honey, calm down…” The mother said nervously as the little girl rubbed her eyes so the tears weren’t let loose without her command “But I want to play! I don’t like staying in here!” She cried, as more metal swarmed around her till it all just dropped and the little girl ran up to her room with the light teak wood for her walls as a tree was carved into the thick woods with little gears for leaves as her chandelier was made out of silver and gold gears and shaped into a ball as it had a little flame inside her friend gave her.
They met once face to face, AM was a creature from Nethar, a place where demons, fire spirits and animals, and fire manipulators lived. They usually met up while they slept and connect minds there. The little girl loved meet AM there, their small hideaway.
The sky was always a beautiful yellow with cotton like pink and red-orange clouds. The dark green grass was filled with aqua like dust floating around giving off a source of lighting as there was a huge dusk tree there with the creamy white and light purple vine like leaves that hung down to the dewy ground.
The little girl walked over to the window with sad eyes as she watched the sunset. She hated being trapped in this wretched place called home and even though she was just a little girl and didn’t know much, she was planning her escape.
Walking over to her closet she grabbed random clothes and put them in her small backpack. She grabbed her small stuffed wolf and blanket. She looked out the window at the winter night before opening up the window with trouble, she soon fell with a small scream as she landed in the fluffy snow. She slowly sat up with a huge smile on her face.
Quickly the little six year old girl ran around, giggling at the feeling of the fluffy snow crunch under her feet. After a while she could hear someone call her name but she just ignored it and continued to wander around the new world as her body bubble with excitement; she hasn’t felt since she has met AM.
-----
The story told by a widowed mother grieving over the loss of her child, no one has ever heard of her again really, most thought and say she just trapped herself in that aged cabin; about five years since that accident was reported to the government officials. I could only imagine what the mother must be feeling...but I remember when I was younger, Jane and I met a boy named Em about two years after this was taken to public, he always got nervous near guards and lots of other people stayed away from Em, like he was a monster ready to kill at any minute. After three years of knowing each other he just left one day, no note, no nothing. It broke our little eleven year old hearts hearing this, for the longest time I was denying that any of this has ever happened and assumed that he got lost. So since then me, a few of the servants, and my ‘greatest’ sister ever, Jane, helping out in this search of finding Em.
Okay, well just to clarify. Jane is a good sister but sometimes she really gets on my nerves. But isn’t siblings supposed to do that? Sometimes it’s funny to look back at a few fights we have had.
I chuckled halfheartedly as I ran my robotic fingers through the dark blonde roots of my hair. My thoughts were slipping back to Em. Where did you go? Is there someway to find you...? Is all my-, my thoughts ceased to exist as my sister Jane walked in.
