Cindy's POV
I fell asleep after the call and did not change my stinky clothes. I wake up, I head to the shower and changed into something comfy. I head down and see grandmas friends already with her.
Every Sunday Grandmas best friends from high school would come to our house and talk and dance. Its one of the rare times Grandma stands up and dances with the help of Andrea of course.
I head down and i see Mrs. Garnet, Ms. Spinel and Mrs Diamond (Eve's grandma). They are all at the huge dining table eating with Eliot. Eliot doesn't really come at these days because he has some work to do but this time he came. I come down and sat on my chair and greeted everyone. We stayed at the sofa after breakfast and they told us the same old high school stories that never get boring.
"Lindsey made a hole on my roof and she got stuck inside and we had to call the police" Mrs. Garnet laughed
"Then we had to call her parents then the police then everyone in our school heard of it" Ms. Spinel added
"I was known as Stuck Lin" Grandma laughed
"I miss those days when we were younger" Ms. Spinel
"You guys are still young in the heart" Eliot said cheering Ms. Spinel
"When you get old i hope you and your friends would visit each other like this" Mrs. Diamond said
"Yea, can you tell us more stories about grandpa" then Silence filled the room until Mrs. Garnet spoke
"Your Grandpa was a good man" Mrs. Garnet said
"He was like you, strong, helpful and an amazing person. He would help the poor and give everything for free. He made Hospitals, schools, houses for the poor. He didn't hesitate when someone needed help" Mrs. Diamond said
"He would loved to meet you Both, he would be so proud" Grandma said
"But how did you guys meet?" Eliot asked
"Well when i was new to this town, i was walking home. Then he came to me with this Red van and asked if i needed a ride home. I thought he was a rapist so i ran. I came home tired everyday because he asked me everyday. Summer ended so i had to go to school. I was new so i needed help around. He was the one showing me around the campus. He was a year older than me, he looked like you Eliot a lot like you" Grandma said trying to hold back her tears
"Lunch is ready" Andrea said preparing the food
"Time flies so fast when your with your best friends" Ms. Spinel said
"After we eat lets get our groove on" Mrs. Diamond said dancing
You may ask, Where is Eve? Well she is quite loud specially if her best friend is with her. Our house must not be that loud. The grandmas where helped with their nurses to the table. We ate our lunch and they began to dance to some old music when they were teens. I brought out an old Boombox and placed the volume on low. They danced like they were teens and we tagged along too. Eliot loves spending time with them. Grandma doesn't really open up to us about her past with out them. Their stories get lovelier every week. The day ended quick and Grandma was so happy.
