Fed Up. (An Urban Tale)

I layed in my bed thinking as I usually do ever day after school.  No I dont go hang out with friends. .. I breally have any. Well maybe its because Im new to this High School and being a Senior and all... Nobody really pays attention to her. Theres always types of people at this school.... The Ratchets... The Dancers... The Mean... The Gang Bangers ... The Drug Dealers. Never mind with that anyways. .. My Momma says that I shouldn't get to involved with people at school... But i dont know if I should really listen to hear. She out of wack at times. .. I love her though.  Its 9 o clock so I guess i should go to bed. I layed down in bed and looked up at my walls. My room wasn't special at all, not like those rich kids... The only thing that popped out in my room was the collection of celebrity posters that I cut out of magazines. I then closed my eyes and I was out like a light.

I woke up to gun shots that sounded so close to my window. Me being the person that I am Set up in my bed and peeked out the window. I saw a black car speed off and a figure laying out on the sidewalk. I hopped out of bed and ran into my moms room informing her on what I saw. She said in a sleepy voice "Girl take yo ass back to bed and dont worry about other people business" I sighed and didn't reply back and just went back into my room at stared out the window.  Before long there were ambulances and police all over my street.  Thank god someone else heard or saw what happened and called for help. I felt that I could now go back to bed now that my clock says 3:58 am. I fell back asleep.

I was walking to school when that same black car pulled up on me. A light skinned guy with a fade stuck his head out the car window and put his finger on his lips and said "sssh"...

I flung up in my bed hearing my alarm go off and cutting off my awkward dream.  I thought to myself "sssh" Did someone know I was watching? Nvm... I got up and took my shower, brushed my teeth and got ready for another day.
