Layla's POV

I'm not liking this. Not one bit. While I was thinking this secretory looking lady walked in. She looked wayyyy too cheerful. But she kinda looked like a fairy godmother too. Oh god.

"Hello boys and girls! My name is Alisha Spark! And I am your guide! So if you have any questions just ask!"

I put up my hand. "Yes dear!" "Um yeah we aren't five you don't need to call us girls and boys." "Now now! You don't need to get smart!" She giggled but I could tell it was fake. "Any other questions?" There was silence. "No? Good!"

"Now do you all know why your Mummy or Daddy sent you here?"' How fucking old does she think we are. "No one again? Well you are a quiet bunch! I will explain if you don't already know."

"They sent you all here to, well, protect you. They knew Stormo would go after them first, but I'm pretty sure Stormo doesn't even know they had kids!" Alisha told us. Wow. That's really brave of them.

"Look. I know you all might be angry or upset at your mum or dad, maybe your just feeling confused. But I just hope you all know how much your parents are putting their lives at risk for you all to be safe. You don't know how grateful they all were when they received you guys."

Wow. I didn't know Mum was putting her life at risk!

"Anyway. Let's stop with the sad stuff and let's your the house!" I knew the seriousness wouldn't last long.

She motioned us to all stand up. "So this is the reception where I work!" She then giggles. "Obvs! Since I'm the receptionist!" I mean. She tries. She really tries.

"I will let you all in and out the house if you have your ID, which I will give to you at the end. You are allowed in and out between the hours of 7:00am and 10:00pm on weekdays, not including Friday. For Friday it's 7:00am to 10:30pm. Saturday will be 8:00am to 11:30pm and finally Sunday's times are between 9:00am to 8:00pm. Any questions?"

One of the girls, which I think I heard from her brother her name was Alex, put her hand up.

"Yes!" "Um why so early on a Sunday?" "Because you have school the next day hun!" "Oh....right, of course sorry I forgot." "Not to worry! I'm glad you asked!"

She then took us to the left of the reception. "This is the living room! This is where you will spend time if you want to relax but socialise too!"

It was really beautiful. I think they all agreed with me. "Follow me! There is a pool outside!" We continued to look around the house. Once we were done we ended up back in the living room.

"So after that loooooong house tour, we can finally introduce each other!" I rolled my eyes. Seriously. I could tell from everyone else's expression they wanted to be here just as much as I did, which I don't.

"So! You will tell everyone your name, birthday, your favourite animal and your favourite colour! Let's start with....ah! You!" She pointed to which I assume is Alex's brother

"Fine...My name is Adam, my birthday is March 31st, my favourite animal is a ram and my favourite colour is Maroon."

"There we go! See it wasn't that hard! Now let's continue!" She went through everyone.

Right. So we have Adam, Alexandra, Tommy, Teagan, George, Gemma, Cade, Charlotte, Lance, Lacey, Verneri, Venessa, Sebastian, Sapphire, Sam, Scarlett, Carl, Cathy, Archie, Amy, Peter and Paige. And of course me and my brother. They all seem nice people so I guess that's a plus. But there's one thing I'm sure about them. We all really hate Alisha Spark.
