The old, rotted stairwell. Some believe that it is haunted-- claiming that lost souls claw at the painted walls and scratch at the metal railings, crying out into the night for somebody to love them. Rumor has it that if one even dares to use that old staircase, their death was inevitable. But, the staircase seems the most eerie when the sun or moon spills through the sole window and dances along the steps. Meanwhile, pits of darkness swirl and reach out with their clawed hands to grab at anything unprotected by the light, wishing to consume it and take it in for its own twisted purposes.
