"Maeum! Mianhae..."
"Go away! Don't come near me!"
"Yah! Please! I begging you...."
"Go! I said Go!"
"Why? What did I do wrong to you? Tell me!"
"Tell you? You tell me!"
"But Eum-ah.... Wha- Aishhh!!!! I don't understand what you're talking about."
"Suit yourself! Kibum."
Kibum pulled Maeum hand but she slap him and say
"Don't touch me!"
And walk away.
Maeum pov
He pulled my hand but I slap him. I walk away after saying
"Don't touch me!"
I walk to the rooftop where no one will come. I sit on a bench at the corner and cried my eyes out. I remember the moment he say he need to go home early because he need to take care of his younger brother but he hangout with Dohee at the mall when my mom told me to come with her. I call him and he picked up.
"Eum-ah wae?"
"I'm bored can I come to your house?"
"I'm busy. Can you come tomorrow?"
"But I'm on the way."
"Don't come."
He hang up before I can answer him. I tried call him again but he reject my phone call. Now he begging me for my forgiveness. No. Since that time I don't want to see him again. He never lied to me but now he is. It's like we first meet, stranger. I don't know what to do. I fell asleep.
20 minutes later
A drop of water dripping to my face. I slowly open my eyes. I look my surrounding and I remember I'm at the rooftop. A drop of water still dripping but it's getting heavier and knowing that I will get wet. I walk towards the door and open the door but locked. In a second the rain become heavier and the thunder joined in. I immediately grab my phone and trying to call Uri but failed. I try Chanmi failed and I try the rest and my only chance is Jinho. I tried call him and fortunately he pick up.
"Hello?"
"Jin-ah. Help me, I'm locked at the rooftop and it's raining."
"Bwo!?"
"I'm locked. And freezing."
"Wait there. We will be there in a minute."
"Nae. Please hurry."
I ended the phone call and wait at the door. After like 123456789 hours waiting and freezing, the rain become more heavier and so the thunder. I praying for them to hurry. I guess bad luck on my side. Cold is the only friends I got, my tears slowly fall. I knee down and hug my own body. I remember when we were young, when rainy day we will playing on the rain until we sick and the rest of us will nursing us. I laugh. I remember when Jinho omma lectured us and when she turn around, we slowly drift to neverland. I laugh again. I remember when Sarang appa scold us for playing at the pool when raining and we forbiden to play again at the pool for a couple of month. I fell asleep while remembering all the past.
When I opened my eyes, the first thing I saw is a white ceiling. 'Is this a dream?' I thought. I moved my hand but stopped as I feel someone hold my hand. Suddenly, the door burst open. Ara, Minhwan and Danbi come in with a plastic bag both on their hand.
"You already wake up?" Minhwan ask.
"Nae." I answer.
"How's you feel?" Minhwan ask.
"Better?" Ara ask again.
I just nodded.
"Take a rest. You're still need some energy.." Danbi said while walking beside me and tapped on the person shoulder.
"Ya! Ya! Kibum-ah! Wake up!"
Kibum groaned.
"Don't you want to wake up? Maeum already awake."
"She is?!" Kibum ask and lift his head up. He look at me but I look the other way. I don't have the courage to look at him.
"Gwenchana?" Kibum ask me. I nodded my head.
"Go home. We will take care of her." Ara said.
"You should go home. Don't worry three if us will stay here." Minhwan said.
"Take this with you." Ara said while give Kibum a plastic with food inside. Kibum nodded and take the plastic.
"Good night, Eum-ah, Bi-ah, Ra-ah, Hwan-ah. Take a good rest." Kibum said before dissapeared at the door.
"What time is it now?" I ask.
"It's in the middle of the night. 12:43 AM ..." Danbi answered.
"Hwan-ah? Hwan? Minhwan?" Ara called but no answer. We heard a snore and look at the couch, we saw Minhwan fell asleep with a plastics of junk food still on his hand. We laugh and Ara took the plastics and put blanket round him.
