The car ride was filled with Ariana songs that my mum sang along with for me. She had become my new mouth, a good filler for her.

When we got there we went straight to our seats fairly near to the front. The night was amazing, the flashing lights, the hearty Ariana fans, and my mum smiling at me. The first time I had genuinely smiled since before her death.

The night came to a close in the brink of an eye. As Ariana started to sing the last part of the song, I saw a man; he looked like he was doing something dangerous, but I couldn't say anything. My mum was oblivious to the man, she was too caught up in the show, who wouldn't be?

The last thing I heard was a loud bang, I was flung back far but my mum grabbed me just before we hit the ground.

And that's where I started, lying on the ground in my mum's arms practically dead. I hate when stories end with 'and she died' but that's what happened.

And I died.
